Bathroom had some mold around outside edges of bathtub and on the shower curtain. Mattresses in 2 of the rooms were very firm and uncomfortable. Other than that, property was perfect for our needs and management was very responsive and flexible and able to add additional days when plans adjusted.Thank you!

Despite these concerns, we’re happy to hear that you still enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you again in the future and will make sure your next experience is even better!
The kitchen had most of what we needed to cook. It was decently clean, but could use the deep cleaning. Scrubbing the floor, especially along the baseboards, scrubbing the tile in the shower, etc. The pillows in the master were very flat and could use an upgrade. Definitely needs more lighting in the backyard. Maybe some string lights? Overall was a nice stay!

Two families in town to visit additional Arizona family. A great place to spread out at the end of the day and quiet neighborhood for morning walks

Overall this house and stay were adequate at best. The house was in a moderate state of disrepair with torn/worn furniture and linens. There were also bugs and mosquitoes everywhere. I would not stay here again.

Home is conveniently located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Home was clean, but in need of some updating especially in bathroom, family room and kitchen areas. Did enjoy the fresh lemons from the lemon trees in the backyard!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. We grilled outside, played games and watched T.V. when we weren't visiting my son and grandson. It's perfect for dogs as well. I would highly recommend staying here. A couple of things to note, have a car. The only place that's walkable is the Starbucks a couple of blocks away.

Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed grilling, playing games, and relaxing during your stay. It’s great to know the property was perfect for your dogs too! We appreciate the tip about having a car for convenience—it’s definitely helpful for guests. We’d love to host you again and hope to welcome you back soon!
The location was perfect, which is the main reason we chose this house- we were just a few doors down from family who lives in the neighborhood! The house itself gave us plenty of room, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the ping pong table was a nice addition - we all had fun playing games. The hosts were easy to communicate with and even allowed us an early check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic!
We live close to this neighborhood and are doing a renovation on our house that required us and our dogs to move out while the work was being done. This house was clean, quiet, and very comfortable for us. We felt very at home while we were away from our home and that brought the stress levels down! Jon and Amanda were great to deal with and I would definitely rent a property from them again!

Disliked: Cleanliness
I wasn’t impressed with this house. As soon as you walk in, the smell of body oils and stale food hits you in the face. The furniture (living room & dining room) was well worn and uncomfortable. Many things were dirty - remote, door knobs, bathroom floor, refrigerator handle. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and many lights in the master bedroom were blown. Trash people take out the trash really late in the night and because the walls are so thin, you can hear it. I didn’t contact the host until we left- I didn’t want the next guest to experience these issues. We were there for four days. We were there to take care of family affairs after a loved one had a stroke.

Our son and his pup moved to Phoenix two years ago after college graduation (covid year). He now considers himself a "local." We enjoyed our stay at the house, albeit a bit warm due to the Phoenix temperatures. The ping pong table served as an excellent place to play Catan. Good choice for us!

The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because the 2nd tub didn't drain and taking a shower was in standing water. The AC is older and was a bit loud....otherwise it was.a cute house, well appointed, nice neighborhood and clean. They loved being able to walk to Starbucks. Good value for what we needed.

So much nicer then a hotel for the horse show!!!
Our "barn family" was in town for the Sun Circuit Quarter Horse show at Westworld, about 12 mins away from the house. About 3 months before the show I started looking at hotels and the rates were crazy! I use VRBO about 5 times a year and decided to see if we could find something for our group of 6. Jon's house was perfect! So nice to come "home" each evening, cook, do laundry, sit on patio, watch TV on a comfy couch, and enjoy each others company, instead of a dank hotel. The grill was great, we used it every night. Beds were comfy and it was the perfect layout for our group. House is convenient to grocery store, Costco, and other shopping. It was nice to be able to put one car in the garage also. Only thing I would say is, for those who like to cook some pyrex bowls, and bakeware would be nice so you can microwave and bake things. If I had had some extra time I would have gone to Homegoods and bought some. We did buy some Gladware, foil pans, saran wrap, baggies, and foil that we left for future guests. If we come to show next year, we may book again unless our group is larger. Thank you again for sharing your home! Team G
This house was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Well equipped for cooking family dinners and gatherings.

Not recommended
Location is not good---too close to airport so airplane noise is constant. Neighbor next door on the north has a small dog that constantly barks. Too many things on the property did not work properly: thermostat; blinds; can opener; ceiling fans for which chairs were needed to reach cord; outlets that were dead; TV that was too difficult to operate, did not have NBC and cable was not user friendly (and instructions were bad); front door should not have to be jiggled in order to gain entry.

We are sorry the home did not work well for your needs. Unfortunately, we never received a message from the guests during their stay so we were not given a chance to help them remedy any of the items mentioned. We also have a feeling many of the issues stated may be possible user error because we have not heard of these issues from any other guest before or after their stay.
