The Black Chalet is a perfect Pocono Mountain getaway... it includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room with gas fire place, full kitchen, dining table and a large outdoor deck with salt water HOT TUB and fire pit. The backyard has a wood burning fire pit and a view to the wilderness of a state park. The area is full of nature, outdoor adventures and restaurants to enjoy during all four seasons. Walk to Lake Harmony in 8 minutes. Private beach access from June - August. WiFi 100+ mbps

Lake Harmony has become the best year-round activity and vacation destination on the East Coast.

People have been escaping the cities for the solitude of Lake Harmony for over a hundred years. It’s clear mountain water, natural beauty, rich history and wide range of amenities draws people from everywhere. The lake is located in Carbon County in the Pocono Mountains region of northeastern Pennsylvania. It is within two hours from both New York City and Philadelphia, making it a fantastic destination for a getaway.

Lake Harmony is a two and a half mile long, natural glacial lake with plenty of boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, canoeing and jet skiing in the summer. There are also tennis courts, beaches, waterparks, fishing and designated swimming areas.

In the winter the average snowfall in the area is 60 inches. Skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing are excellent. Lake Harmony is bookended by two ski slopes, Jack Frost & Big Boulder.

Just a short drive away, you’ll find Hickory Run State Park, which has 16,000 acres of abundant wildlife, 40 miles of hiking trails, a National Natural Landmark and numerous waterfalls.

In addition to the area's natural attractions, there are restaurants, shopping, golf courses, Pocono Organics Café & Market, and NASCAR's Pocono Raceway.

Guests will have full privacy and access to the entire house.

Temperature is controlled with a mini split air conditioning system and electric baseboard heaters.

The therapeutic salt water Hot Tub is operational all year.

Golf cart rentals available from May-November. Additional charge required.
The cart can be used to access the private beach (May-Sept), tennis courts, a bar on the lakefront, recreational fields at Split Rock Resort, a lookout deck at the top of the mountain, arcade at Town Center and a movie theatre.

Lake Harmony Perfection!

The Black Chalet was exactly as described, amazingly clean, and totally well stocked. Also, the decor was Instagram-worthy. The beautiful gas fireplace and pristine hot tub added a lot to our vacation. Brian, the host, was very responsive. We highly recommend this house!

Cozy cabin getaway

Sleek decor and solid amenities made this property a great spot to get out of the city for a long weekend. The neighborhood was nice and private tucked behind lake harmony with a wonderful rock scape back yard.

Perfect getaway

Easy to say this stay would be great any time of the year, but for my friends and I in the fall we couldn't have asked for more. Fireplace, hot tub, fire pit - all the bases were covered for a fun weekend with friends.

I am native to the Pocono Mountain region of PA. I grew up being surrounded by nature and exploring all the waterfalls, streams and trails in the area. I have found sanctuary at this beautiful, abundant lake town for as long as I can remember... It brings me great joy to share my rental properties with guests in this incredible forest. I welcome you to reconnect with nature, where you will find good health and well-being.

I enjoy practicing yoga, surfing and traveling to find adventure. I like connecting with communities everywhere I go.

I have been a host for almost 5 years. I strive try to meet all my guest’s expectations and aim at delivering more than just an ordinary stay… but an amazing, memorable experience. I do my best to operate and present all my rental homes to the highest standard. Cleanliness and quality are my top priorities.

Aside from managing rental properties, I’m also a Creative Director focusing on Consumer Product Development. I concentrate on designing brands, products and packaging. You’ll notice my affection for fine art sprinkled throughout my homes.

Enjoy a therapeutic, saline hot tub experience any time of the year. The home rests on the perimeter of the 16,000 acre Hickory Run State Park. A wood burning fire pit is available in the rear of the property. Walk to the lakefront in just 8 minutes. Here you will find bars, a lagoon and recreational resort amenities. Restaurants can be found throughout the Lake Harmony area. Pocono Organics Cafe & Market and NASCAR Pocono Raceway is only a 10 min drive.
