Our dogs were able to stay with us which was the greatest amenity! We needed to book a place quickly due to a family member’s fast approaching wedding. Traveling from Maine was too long of a trip to leave the pets at home. The cabin is super cute, but felt like it could have been a little cleaner. It was tidy and picked up but a few things were missed ( like the mirror in the bathroom had some splatters on it) This could have could have been due to our request for an early arrival, but since there was a charge for that I don’t feel that it should have been a factor. The beds were not in the position of the pictures online and the bunk is partially blocking the tv, not sure why but it is odd. Not an issue for us since we really just needed a place to crash and were not planning to use it. The bunk bed is also pretty squeaky sounding. There is a small crack in the bathroom door, and unfortunately the hot water smells like sulfur. . . With all those minor things I feel like I have definitely stayed places that cost considerably less and offered more, but it is still a cute place and has the potential to be exceptional, especially if camping in it for vacation, and not a last minute necessary accommodation for a wedding. We were unable to take advantage of the other activities this place offers, because that is not why we were here, but the ropes course and paintball nearby look super fun, and have me wishing we could stay longer and participate.
