Gorgeous Getaway on the Cape Cod Bikepath New!

New to VRBO! Our house is a newly remodeled, 2740-sq-ft open-concept stunner, adjacent to the CCRT bikepath. Relax in 3 separate living spaces, perfect for 1-2 families with kids, or friends traveling together. A modern open kitchen has everything you need for family dinners. Hang out by the firepit in our huge backyard, or stroll across the path into the Indian Lands, with beautiful paths along the Bass River. Less than 10 mins to bay or oceanside beaches, or bike all the way up to Wellfleet!

The space: Enter into the wood-beamed Great Room, with a wood-burning stove in the corner, cozy couch and Smart TV (equipped with Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney+), and an expandable dining table that seats 8-10. Off to one side is a sunroom, which overlooks the backyard and is filled with books and games for families, especially the toddler/preschool set. Up the carpeted stairs is the master suite, with a supremely comfortable king bed, a toddler bed/daybed, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The open-concept kitchen area has a granite island with pull-up barstools, perfect for gathering around, as well as another dining table that seats 6-8, and a little desk area. That opens to a second living room with a fireplace (currently not in use) and more comfy seating, and a hallway that leads to a high-ceilinged king bedroom, with its own bathroom (this is where you’ll find the full washer/dryer). Up a set of stairs is another bedroom suite with a bunkbed with a twin bed on top and a full bed below, as well as a daybed that pulls out to a king. Basement has ping pong table for rainy day fun!

Great location and space

The owners were very responsive and communicative. Great space in the house and lots of toys and games for our toddler. There was everything needed for the beach which was so convenient. The backyard was spacious and great to run around in. Thank you so much!!

Amazing Vacation!

Overall, I was very impressed with the entire experience! The open communication made our entire stay better than other vacation rentals! Our host was very accommodating and provided us with all the essentials. The property and house itself was absolutely gorgeous and an ideal location for bikers and beach goers like ourselves! Open floor plan - great for young families!

We recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful time. The space has wonderful natural light and a great open floor plan which is wonderful for families - I have a 2 year old and 4 year old and there were also toys in the house that the kids loved exploring while there! The owners are lovely and responsive. I will definitely return!

We are two DC-based professionals (a journalist and an economist) who love to travel with our little ones in tow. We are just starting to host at our new cottage on the Cape, which we love - and love sharing with others.

Why they chose this property

I grew up coming to the Cape every year, and when I got married introduced my husband (a New Yorker) to the area. When we had kids we'd rent a different place every summer, and were introduced to a whole new level of why the Cape is so special. We would spend all day exploring tidepools on the bay side, collecting shells on the Nantucket Sound side, seal-watching in Chatham, and going on beautiful hikes. We fell in love with this house immediately - the barn doors! the huge yard! the open, airy, light-filled spaces! It is most definitely our family happy place. We are excited to share it with you!

What makes this property unique

We have our own private entrance to the famous Cape Cod rail trail bikepath, which goes past cranberry bogs and gorgeous ponds on the way to ocean and bay-side beaches. The Indian Lands Conservation area is just down the bikepath from us, where you can walk/run through beautiful pine forests to the Bass River.
