While the property itself was fine, our anniversary trip was unfortunately ruined by the host, Ryan. He was consistently difficult, unaccommodating, and reactive to reasonable questions.When an urgent medical situation delayed our arrival, we politely let him know two days in advance that we’d miss the first two (already paid) nights even offering him the chance to re-book those nights for extra revenue despite our pre-paid nights and communication only to receive a defensive response stating we informed him too late and his systems wont allow it so he cant now. When we asked a simple question about parking our single vehicle and small boat in the two available driveway spots, we were met with unnecessary hostility instead of clear guidance. To top it off, he refused to let us charge a small battery, comparing it to charging a full electric car or filling a tank of gas, this is small like a batter charger and honestly if it was a HUGE deal to use the electricity, we would have paid more I suppose (never had using outlets become an issue ANYWHERE).Effective communication and basic customer service are essential in short-term rentals, and Ryan fell far short. We will not be returning and would advise future guests to look elsewhere.

It wasn’t as nice as it looks in all of the pictures. Need more lighting in there and the steps inside and outside are a little dangerous. The shower is extremely small for adults even at 5 foot tall and 130 pounds.
