Love the ground floor locations!

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay! Feel very safe at this resort even with a group of only women. Love the close proximity to the lazy river and pools with a 1st floor condo.

Always a great time at Las Palomas

We spent a few nights for spring break 2025 and had a great time. The beds were comfy. We thought the water wasn’t working for the showers, so we called the front desk. They told us to pull the handle out, that is how it turns on. The kitchen had what we needed. We loved not having to use the elevator. Loading and unloading the car was easy with a parking spot close to this room!

Excellent Stay!

Condo was as pictured and very clean! We have stayed at both phase 1 and phase 2 and to me there is no difference in accommodations or amenities. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, and the condo was stocked with all necessities. Loved the ground floor location with an easy walk to the pool or beach. Everyone on this resort is so friendly and helpful. Be sure to order tacos from the pool bar, they were delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

Ground floor is the way to go!

We stayed at Las Palomas quite a few times and always try to find a property on the first floor and in Phase 1. The customer service is so quick to fix things!! Kaffee Haus on the way to the city center has wonderful pasteries, La Curva is always a good place to eat and we enjoy shopping at Super Ley. And Mister Fish is our go to shrimp source.

Great location and accurate description

Great and convenient access to all the resort amenities, nice and clean property. Only issue was not related to the property owner and was a resort water restriction issue. Daily water availability was from 8-10am and evening 5-8pm - quite disappointing, but s... happens. Other than that listing is very accurate. All necessities for the pleasant stay are in the unit. Wi-Fi, Netflix, Hulu, cable... etc are available. Property owner responded promptly to the messaged question. I would definitely recommend this property and will look forward to come again.

Very good stay, great rooms and location

The ground floor patio was covenant for access to the pool and beach. There was a safety problem with the living room sliding glass door that I notice. The locking tab on the door latch was broken and we were unable to secure the door and it was concerning someone could just slide it open and walk in on us. The patio had broken tiles and the cement bench had a large chunk out of it with rebar showing through. Over all our stay was a 5 but the safety things needed to be addressed.

Overall it was a great experience. Checking in was okay. We had to wait about 20 minutes for them to give us our keys. When they finally did give us our keys we had to wait in a long line. Our keys did not work so we had to go back and wait in that long line again. Our case worked for maybe the first hour they didn't work again we had to go back and get keys again. He's worked for the first day and didn't work after that. We did not have keys the five days we were there so we would have to leave the back door unlocked. It was just such a hassle to wait in the long lines for the keys.

A little disappointed in the check in process. We arrived only one hour prior to official check in and were told we could not enter our condo. We had to change in the lobby bathroom and hang out at the pool for an hour at which time the condo was "ready". This is odd because every day we were there, the maids came at 10-11 in the morning. We were also there at a time when the resort was literally at lowest capacity imaginable...hard to believe there was a legit reason the condo wasn't "ready".Wifi was good. Parking was good and it felt very safe there with the guard house, roaming security guards and gates.Didn't have any liquid dish soap to wash dishes and no laundry soap...this was a little disappointing. We bought large bottles and left it there hopefully to help out the next tenants.Location awesome and grounds were meticulously kept by the staff.Gym facility was good. Disappointed that they refused to let my husband workout because he didn't have official "tennis shoes" on...he had closed toed shoes that resembled hiking shoes with vented sides. Should have been fine to work out in :(

I really liked the property and the location of the condo, it’s close to the pools and main tower. it was clean and had the things that we needed. The price was reasonably good for being a ground level property. It was clean and everything was working except for a few things that maybe need updated. The sofa bed is not in good shape, it definitely needs to be replaced. It’s broken or just really bent and out of shape. The guest shower lever is loose and needs to be replaced. Despite those couple of things I would definitely stay at that property again. I usually stay at Phase 2, this one is phase 1, which is better for the kids as it’s close to the water slide.

Nice to be on the ground floor. Air conditioner in master closet needs some adjusting as it is loud and some small updates are needed but the advantages way out way these minor things and I would stay there again.

Overall, it was a great trip. There was a problem ordering room service, and when you scan the menu option, it only gives you pricing not ordering option which then we could not contact front desk from the phone.
