The property location was amazing and the home itself was very fitting for our group of 9 in terms of size, rooms, bathrooms and common living space. I loved the open large living space for everyone. I was dissappointed with the amount of silverware for a home that large and made for a group our size. Also disappointed in kitchenware for a large group (serving bowls, pots, pans etc). The home could use some refreshing. Im sure it was amazing in it’s prime. Despite that I would most definitely stay there again!! Well worth it!!
The house was a perfect fit for our family of ten. The beautiful summer views of the lake and mountains and unique character of the house made for an enjoyable space for all of us. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and we utilized the outdoor space frequently. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to move around in, but some things that one might expect to be there, weren't supplied. The host was very responsive and even scheduled hot tub service midway through our stay and provided a new dryer when the old one quit working. This place was a great home base for our whole family to gather in between outings.
Our second stay at this property. Four bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, perfect for our family group. Two generous family room areas allowed everyone to spread out. Gorgeous views overlooking Lake Dillon, convenient to the ski slopes. Great stay!
Great home for my wife and I along with our 3 adult children and their spouses for a spring ski trip. All rooms were well appointed as were the associated bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed (Only went out to dinner one night) and the separate living areas worked out great for late evening relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful house with a beautiful view. Other reviews mentioned the older fixtures, and this property could use a little TLC overall. However that is what put this property in our price range and the extra space was worth it. Management company was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant.
The place seems a bit worn since our last stay 2 years ago. Hot tub was fine. Several showers need replacement taps. One shower was clogged. The kitchen stovetop really should be replaced Lots of light switches don’t seem to turn anything onI would give it a tune up
loved the house and had a lovely stay. noticed two of the electric heaters making more noise than they should, master bath and living room built in by the window but thats the only feedback i had.
We spent 6 days at Summerwood with a mix of family and friends. The property is as impressive as the pictures would suggest. Stunning views of Lake Dillon and the surrounding mountainsides. Enjoyed our time on the deck perched high on the cliffs overlooking the lake. We walked and biked the Dillon Lake rec path, located just down the hill from the house. House itself has four well-appointed bedrooms, a nice kitchen and plenty of common space for lounging, TV watching and games. Overall a wonderful stay, would definitely come back again.
This was ideal for our family Thanksgiving gathering! We had excellent communication with the property management. Gorgeous views, large bedrooms with comfortable beds and lots of storage. We had plenty of bedding/linens, air mattresses, games and fully stocked kitchen. The thermostats were a little tricky to figure out-but one of us used to work with HVAC so he was designated to adjust the heat. 😂
We loved the hot tub! We all said we would come here again.

Great location, be mindful of the cliffs though. It was a beautiful well kept house with plenty of supplies. Don’t bring supplies as they probably have what you’re looking for. The appliances were old, I wished I had known that the freezer on the side by side didn’t work as I put things in it to wake up to everything thawed out and ruined.
What a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The pictures were amazing, but they honestly did not do the place justice.
One item to note is that the house does not have any air conditioning and admittedly, we missed that in the listing. If the property owner could either add air conditioning units to the sleeping rooms or screens to the doors, it would allow you to get more air flow into the bedrooms at night. The small crank out windows simply do not allow for enough air flow and opening the doors without screens allows too many bugs in. Please add additional box fans so that those can be used as well.
Thank you for hosting us and for being so responsive to any questions that we had. We would definitely come back!
This home was perfect for our weeklong stay with our adult children. Everyone got their own bedroom with ensuite. Lots of space to spread out in the two living room areas on the main floor for tv watching, games and puzzles, and the hot tub was awesome for the evenings after hiking and biking. The kitchen was well-appointed and large enough for multiple people to work on meals together. The garage was also large enough for us to park both cars and also keep our bikes and hiking equipment safe and dry while not in use. We would definitely stay again!
View was pretty and a good location. Dryer went out the third day we were there and could not be fixed which was real inconvenient since it was 9 of us. House had some maintenance issues that needs to be addressed such as shower head broke, tv not working in middle bedroom, front door needs to be fixed, several windows need to be fixed.
Beautiful location, older home but well kept, four bedrooms all with their own bathrooms, functional hot tub unlike other places we’ve stayed. Cooked every meal in their well stocked kitchen. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!
