I am so glad you had a chance to enjoy the peace of the area- at times all I want to do is sit and watch the waves tumble in- hope we will have the honor of hosting you in the future!

I do have plans next spring to put in a new grill, would love to hear what other concerns you had that made the home weatherworn if you have the time. I will say that time of year does see higher tides especially during a storm and sand dunes may pile up overnight. During the summer the beach is wide and people tailgate on the beach but the beach traffic can be intimidating. I agree the house itself is not one I would recommend to younger children especially due to the amount of stairs and railings. Despite indicating it is not ideal for toddlers, many families do make the choice to visit at which point I advise them to be very diligent in watching around these safety concerns. Thanks for taking the time to post a review and I do so love to release tension there by slowly drinking coffee and watch the waves roll in!

We gather as a group and head down to tailgate on the beach but also enjoy going home for bathroom breaks! Safe travels and hope to see you all in the future!
