Step into a piece of history with our spacious split-level Victorian retreat, boasting over 1,400 sq. ft. Originally built in 1887, this beautifully restored home seamlessly blends its rich heritage with modern amenities for a truly unique stay. Barrio Logan, a vibrant neighborhood, offers an array of cultural experiences right at your doorstep, with easy access to Coronado, downtown/Convention Center, and Little Italy.

The Space:
Beyond the inviting living room, small dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, our home features three bedrooms (including 1 king bed & 2 queens) and a designated office space in one of the bedrooms. Stay connected with reliable Wi-Fi and take advantage of the provided desk and chair. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, and a convenient stacked washer/dryer unit is available for your use.

Entertainment options abound, with complimentary streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime available for your enjoyment on our 4K TV. Please be mindful that there is a separate granny flat occupied by a long-term tenant in the backyard, and we kindly ask for your respect toward our neighbors and the neighborhood.

Guest Access:
Parking is free and on-street only. During the day there is typically parking available in front of the house. At nights or on weekends when there is an event at the nearby brewery or arts center, parking may be half a block to one block away.

The Neighborhood:
This historic Victorian home is in Logan Heights, just two blocks from Barrio Logan, an artistic, industrial area with Mexican roots. At its heart is Chicano Park, with dozens of murals depicting the community’s past activism, alongside images of notable figures like Frida Kahlo. Former warehouses on Logan Avenue now house galleries, taco shops, and craft breweries and coffee shops.

We love being 1 to 2 miles from downtown, a quick Uber to beautiful Coronado Island and its beach, and within a few miles of Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and the fun neighborhoods of North Park, South Park, Golden Hill, and Hillcrest. We'd be happy to tell you about our favorite spots!

Getting Around:
Ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft are a great way to get to Downtown, Coronado Island, Balboa Park, or the North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, or Golden Hill neighborhoods. Barrio Logan is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk.

Other Things to Note:
We do not have cable TV, but there are Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts for streaming on our 4K TV, plus all of the movies and TV shows that are available for streaming through the Roku app.

While my first priority is ensuring my valued guests enjoy their stay, I have an equally important commitment to the safety and comfort of my neighbors and community. Please read the following list of property rules prior to confirming your reservation. If you’re uncomfortable with these rules, I encourage you to please make alternate accommodations:

GUEST
• For security purposes, guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on Airbnb, including a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).
• You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.
• Check-in is 4PM or later. Check-in instructions will be sent via email the morning of your stay
• No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: Doing either will result in eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.

PETS
• Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property.

DAMAGE
• We understand accidents happen. In the event of damage occurring at the property, we require that all guests report any and all damage during their stay, prior to check-out.

LOCALS
• Due to restrictions placed on us by our landlord, and as a condition pertaining to our ability to host, we are unable to accept reservations from guests local to the area (within 60 miles of San Diego). By booking, you hereby accept and agree to this condition and that you'll be required to show proof of residency. Any reservation which does not comply with this restriction will be subject to cancellation.

SMOKING
• Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property. Evidence of smoking will result in a complete forfeiture of your security deposit.

EVENTS & GATHERINGS
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10PM-8AM.

SECURITY
• This property may implement video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests. Additionally, this property may also use Noise Aware technology to ensure the comfort and security of our guests.

VISITORS
• We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests unless previously authorized by the host.

FILMING & PHOTO SHOOTS
• If you or your company are interested in utilizing the space for film, television, music video or photo/film shoots of any kind, please contact us via the message portion of the site to discuss details, approvals, pricing, etc.

PLEASE NOTE
• Guest agrees to hold the Host harmless against any and all loss, claims, causes of action, demands and/or costs and expenses that may be incurred by the guests in relation to the unit rental. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. Subletting the property is strictly prohibited.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
• We highly recommend our guests purchase travel insurance to protect them against any issues that would cause a guest to have to cancel their trip. InsureMyTrip offers plans from 21 different carriers, have an easy-to-follow website that allows you to compare and contrast each policy or e-mail details to yourself, and offer a wide range from standard policies to 5 star coverage. If you do a quick online search it should pop up.

Military Family Weekend
Family weekend to meet with family member stationed on NAS North Island. Ideal location for access to Coronado, surrounding restaurants and the airport. First comment when we entered the house was that it was cuter than described. There were six of us and we were all very comfortable.
