From the time we reserved to the time we checked out, it couldn’t have been easier, or more enjoyable! Miss Dixie made sure of that! The property was absolutely gorgeous- I could totally retire there! Quaint downtown location, just perfect.
The Huddleston Hall was the perfect place for us to stay and enjoy visiting family. Dixie has brought back to life an old building/loft and thought of everything you would need/want while staying there. This will be our place (or Loft 163) to stay each time coming home for a visit!
The property is beautiful, well appointed, and conveniently located downtown. Despite the location, just off the town square, noise was never a problem at all. Dixie is a wonderful host; very quick to respond to any inquiry. Would definitely stay here again.
I dont have anything negative to say about our stay here, it exceeded our expectations. We're already planning our next trip. This will be our close to home hideaway atleast twice a year!
My first time at Huddleston Hall didn't disappoint. It is comfy, charming and located in a great area. Dixie is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. I'll definitely be back!!
Clean, found as listed. Well appointed kitchen. Nice atmosphere. The only thing they could improve is the steep steps going in the back entrance but they are fine for someone with no mobility issues. Over all this is a smart space that can be used many ways and makes a great little VRBO. I will stay here again.
This apartment loft is beautifully renovated maintaining its original history flare and decorations with a modern touch and modern appliances. It provides a spacious area with victorian high ceilings and tall windows. The kitchen, the bathroom and half bathroom are completely updated and very clean. This is a great host who provided all the necessary items needed for a comfortable and relaxing retreat. Also, everyone in town treated us with kind hospitality. We give this a 100% recommendation… we will be back!
Huddleston House is even more beautiful and spacious in person! The kitchen and bathrooms are new and modern. The bed is beyond comfortable... my friend and I slept so well.
The space is basically open, so probably best for a couple or close friends (bathrooms are spacious enough for privacy and changing though). The outside stairs are a bit steep, so wouldn't recommend for anyone who struggles with stairs to begin with.
As an added bonus, the Monarch Social Club right downstairs has great food and drinks, and the coffee shop across the street has amazing coffee and food as well.
We will definitely stay here again when we arein the area! Dixie, the host was very helpful and easy to get in touch with too.
