We had a wonderful time at Painted Carefree and are already looking forward to going back! The house was completely private and we enjoyed sitting by the pool and reading several books. Most people think that would be boring, but relaxation is most important to us when going on vacation, so this house fit the bill. Teri was amazing to deal with and added special touches such as a pool float that I requested. When we met with her on the first day, she brought us fresh grapefruit from her trees. What a gift! We are excited to return!

Painted Carefree is a lovely private home in a quiet area. The spa was a great way to relax and Teri was very helpful with any questions we had. The house is close to anything you would want and is in a very walkable neighborhood. The outdoor kitchen was awesome for cooking meals.

Amazing, this IS the perfect private home!

Wonderful stay!

Susan and Teri are amazing hosts, we spent a short vacation on the property and TRULY LOVED IT. The photos and description of the listing are not enough to describe how beautiful and relaxing it is. This home was everything as advertised and more. The property manager Teri went above and beyond communicating with us and making sure everything was seamless. We loved the home, the vibe and the location. Cannot wait to visit again.

The pool patio and nearby seating areas were very comfortable ! The set-up allows the painted wall to absorb heat from the sun and makes an awesome heated backrest in the early evening hours as well! So many places to sit around the perimeter of the house that you can always find a sunny ( or shady) spot to relax ! Close enough to walk down the Wash in the back to go to Carefree. Drives to restaurants and grocery were 3-4 minutes ! Will go back here for every trip we make to this area from now on!!

Wonderful property

Painted Carefree continues to be my favourite place to stay in the Carefree area. It's not a typical vacation rental - it feels like you're at home. It is always very clean and very well stocked with everything you will need to have an enjoyable visit. Susan and Teri are the best at taking care of you!

Great location and property! Teri and Susan were very accommodating. If you are looking for a property that feels remote yet close to everything - this is it. Well equipped, wonderful views and beautiful patio/pool area, it doesn't get any better.

beautiful comfortable and relaxing

This is a great home with the perfect outside space - pool, spa, outdoor fireplace with seating arrangement, outdoor grill..... Flowers fill the yard and courtyard, birds are everywhere. The inside is also very comfortable and cozy. This is the second time we've stayed at this home because it is so wonderful.

Bliss at Painted Carefree

Our stay at Painted Carefree exceeded our expectations. If you want peace and serinity this is the place. Its quiet, private, and extremely clean. We will be back for another vacation. The owner and owners helper were amazing to work with and just wonderful people.

Your Own Resort in Carefree

Susan's house is a dream! We felt like we were staying at a our little private resort. I wish I could give 10 stars in each category! The home was extremely comfortable and anything we needed was in reach. In fact, anything we needed and didn't know we needed was in reach! The garden/pool area were magical. We are absolutely looking forward to future stays :)!

Couldn’t be more Perfect!!

What a great stay! Property was as described, comfortable, fully equipped, and ready to enjoy! Teri was the most helpful host and always available for questions. The eclectic style of the casita inside in addition to the wonderful opportunity to experience nature outdoors makes this such a perfect place to get away. I will be back for sure!!

Amazing property - like having our own private resort!!

Susan's home is the perfect place for two couples to spend a week relaxing. Everything you need is in place. The home is furnished beautifully and the neighborhood is so quiet. Terry is only a text message or phone call away if you need anything. We had a wonderful time and will be back next year!!

Dream home in the desert

What an amazing place. We couldn't have ask for a better place. Waking up and having coffee in the back yard as the sun come up was relaxing. We didn't have to go any were far for food, great restaurants and shopping really close by. We enjoy ever min and can't wait to return next year. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Carefree Living!

Great location and wonderful outdoor space with pool, hot tub and wood burning fireplace. Home sits on over 2 acres with easy access to walking in Galloway Wash right out the back gate! Comfortable home with two bedrooms and two baths located within walking distance to Carefree. Very private with wonderful sunsets and attentive property management.
