We had a wonderful time at Painted Carefree and are already looking forward to going back! The house was completely private and we enjoyed sitting by the pool and reading several books. Most people think that would be boring, but relaxation is most important to us when going on vacation, so this house fit the bill. Teri was amazing to deal with and added special touches such as a pool float that I requested. When we met with her on the first day, she brought us fresh grapefruit from her trees. What a gift! We are excited to return!

Thank you for your kind review. Teri is a gem and I could not do this with out her, as the last thing I want my sweet house to be is run by a commercial company that does not really care. Teri cares and is a great friend. So glad you plan on returning. Stay well and again Thank you!

Painted Carefree is a lovely private home in a quiet area. The spa was a great way to relax and Teri was very helpful with any questions we had. The house is close to anything you would want and is in a very walkable neighborhood. The outdoor kitchen was awesome for cooking meals.

I am very happy that you enjoyed your stay and appreciate our efforts in keeping the place up. Big apology with the air conditioning. Last year I replaced a very good working unit, old, but working well, just so I would not have air conditioning problems when someone was in the house. This is the second time this summer. I am not a happy camper. Please return and be our guest. Thank you!

The pool patio and nearby seating areas were very comfortable ! The set-up allows the painted wall to absorb heat from the sun and makes an awesome heated backrest in the early evening hours as well! So many places to sit around the perimeter of the house that you can always find a sunny ( or shady) spot to relax ! Close enough to walk down the Wash in the back to go to Carefree. Drives to restaurants and grocery were 3-4 minutes ! Will go back here for every trip we make to this area from now on!!

Painted Carefree continues to be my favourite place to stay in the Carefree area. It's not a typical vacation rental - it feels like you're at home. It is always very clean and very well stocked with everything you will need to have an enjoyable visit. Susan and Teri are the best at taking care of you!

Susan's house is a dream! We felt like we were staying at a our little private resort. I wish I could give 10 stars in each category! The home was extremely comfortable and anything we needed was in reach. In fact, anything we needed and didn't know we needed was in reach! The garden/pool area were magical.
