MaVa House

Perfect place to stay while we were visiting family nearby. The home is comfortable, well-cared for, and was a perfect place to end the day after being out with family. We especially appreciated the Christmas decorations!

Wonderful MaVa

Jessica was a wonderful host and MaVa was perfect for our stay in Martinsville. We appreciated the obvious care she takes in making sure guests have a clean and comfortable stay. Everything was decorated for the Fall season which was so cute. Back of the house/off street parking was a total bonus! She left a list of dining recommendations, and we chose Wild Magnolia - check it out...it was AWESOME! I would estimate that the house is only 10-15 minutes from the Martinsville Speedway, and we will definitely choose to stay at MaVa if we are ever back in town for the race.

House is clean, owner is rude & the property is heavily watched w/ cameras oh & it’s only 1 bathroom

The owner is rude. I booked this house for a work trip for my employees. The listing failed to list that there is only one bathroom. It mentions 3 bedrooms but doesn’t list the number of bathrooms. Pictures (to me) appeared to have 2 bathrooms. My mistake it’s actually 2 pictures of the same bathroom. The bathroom was occupied one morning before work and one of my employees went outside to urinate. She has cameras all over the property and I believe after speaking with my guys she watches the cameras a lot. She sent an email of my employee peeing. I completely understand her being upset but I believe she took it too far with sending me a video and being super rude to me about it. According to the guys the house was clean but it appears that the owners must live there full time and leave when they have renters. The guys were having trouble with the pin to get in the house and she came on the camera to talk them through getting in. I personally did not stay at this house but after dealing with her I will never rent from her again.
