Very Clean, Modern Cottage with Hot Tub!

Welcome to Carson’s Cottage! Where cleanliness, comfort and accommodating our guests is our top priority.
The home is just minutes from shopping, dining, parks, trails and recreation. The Smith River is a block away and stocked with trout! Bring your kayaks, fishing poles and bathing suits 👙 ☀️

This completely renovated home has three bedrooms, new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, an oven that doubles as an air fryer, a beautiful tile and stone shower, ceiling fans in every room, new HVAC system throughout, a brand new porch with comfortable and ample seating, a dining area, a fire pit for gathering outdoors and a grill for cooking out.

There are 3 smart televisions with streaming services and free, fast WiFi.

Note: We have a back entrance for those unable to use the front stairs.
We are dog friendly 🐾 Please let us know if you will be bringing one as there is an additional fee.
We hope you love this place as much as we do and feel right at home!

Adorable Cottage

We were up in Virginia from NC to visit family. This was a perfect place to stay. I use VRBO often and this was one of my favorites. It was redone so well on the inside, nicely decorated, comfortable, and very clean.

Great house, super comfy

We were visiting family in the area, and this little house was perfect for us. Very comfortable, had everything we needed, plus some. It’s obvious the hosts have tried to think of anything you might need during your stay. Just wish the weather hadn’t been so cold, would have loved to have sat on that great front porch and had my morning coffee.

In town for a celebration of life

My wife and I along with our son, daughter in law and grand daughter stayed at Carson's Cabin for three nights. The house is super clean and in a good location. It was very peaceful and private. We still have family in Spencer VA which is 15 min. away so the next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here if it is available.

We have stayed here a few times and the house is absolutely beautiful and so warm and cozy. Taylor is awesome to deal with and very accommodating. She also checked on us to make sure everything was good and that we had no issues, which I think was very kind of her. We will definitely be staying there again.

This is the cutest cottage with all the amenities you could ask for. The house is very clean and decorated so special. The hostess has thought of everything you could possibly need. She also keeps in touch in case you need anything.

The Perfect Cottage

Everything about this property was a great fit for us! It was only about 7 min to the wedding venue we were in town for, the home was clean and cozy, and everything we would need was provided. The front porch was peaceful and perfect for morning coffee, the hot tub in the back was a hit with the 16 yr old twins, and the beds were comfortable!! Definitely recommend. Communication and everything else was a 10/10!

This is our 4th stay at this property, and everything was perfect, as always! The house is clean and the yard is wonderful. The hot tub is a new addition we didn’t get to try out this trip, but we’ll definitely give it a try next time we come!

Comfy cozy cottage.

The Carson Cottage stay was fantastic. This is a home away from home. With its quaint decor, sweet location, and beautiful porch view, my husband and I enjoyed our week long stay throughly. This home was large enough for our grandkids and kids to have a barbecue, roast marshmallow, and play games. The bedrooms were clean and compfy and all amenities were provided.

This quaint home in the rolling hills of Virginia was a perfect relaxing setti g dor meeting my in laws for the first time. My husbands friend even drove 200 milea round trip to see us. Everyone was impressed by the home as a whole. The front porch was great for taking in the setting Sun and the fire pit area was wonderful for bonding time
