A nice cabin in the woods where the only distractions are the squirrels and the birds. Good Wi-Fi but no cell service. Nice amenities and very clean. I would definitely come back!
Great place to stay, you felt away from the beaten path yet still close to town. We booked our stay to go ride at Indian Mountain ATV Park. Plenty of parking for two trailers. Road was tight in some places for my 32ft long trailer but had no issues getting to and from. Would book again!
Beautiful cabin right on the Chief Ladiga Trail. Cabin was very clean and so peaceful. There is also an overlook you can hike up to with an amazing view. Host was so nice and quick to respond. Will be booking this one again!

This is our 3rd time to stay in this cute little cabin.
Cabin was awesome, clean, cozy and comfortable. The area around the cabin is just as great. Bike, hike or paddle without getting inyo the car. I've rented lots of vrbos. This one is one of the most fun and unique, given the location. Don't be afraid of the travel into the property but best located the first time in daylight. A all around if you love nature and privacy.
Really nice quiet property nicely appointed. It is off the Chief Ladiga Trail, about 1/2 mile on a residential gravel road. There is limited to no cell service at this junction on the bike path, so recommend you have the property instructions and directions readily available such as a screenshot. We had to ride 1 mile towards town to obtain cell service to get the directions and checkin information. Host did personally show us a trail shortcut to the C.L. Trail that included nice views and avoided the gravel road. Do note, if you are a cyclist , the address is Piedmont AL, however, Piedmont is 5.7 miles away to the west(?), and a 20-30 minute bike ride to get supplies and meals. Just be prepared that you are not really near town. Would recommend a stay here otherwise !

Hi,
In my description it states that we are on mile marker 9 of the CLT in Piedmont, Al so if you are cycling you can see where that is on the trail in relation to town. I do not feel that a 4 star review was needed here. If you had any questions I responded immediately and would’ve answered any questions prior to your trip had you messaged and asked. Our other reviews also clarify that we are a remote destination and we have wifi so that guests have service at the cabin. We also have a sign at the bike trail at mile marker 9 letting you know you are at our private road to get to the cabin.
We’d love to have you back as a guest, but release remember that we are not a hotel chain and reviews under 5 stars hurt our rating and keep us from getting more bookings. If we had done something I would understand a low rating but we were as accommodating as possible and would’ve cleared up any misunderstandings you had about the location of cabin had you asked us
Really peaceful getaway adjacent to the Chief Ladiga Trail. Cute, tidy, clean cabin in the middle of nature. Host was easy to work with, would definitely stay there again.
Once the location was found it was a very nice, quiet and refreshing stay.

I’m sorry you had a hard time finding it, VrBO signs out a welcome guide that has detailed instructions for finding it. We also have signs that say the Cook Farm to help see where to turn and the driveway, the signs are also written about in the welcome guide
