Property Excellent but Check-in awful

This property was excellent! Clean, comfortable and true to description. The ONLY issue we had was getting check-in information from the property manager. Did not receive it 3 days prior and was told we would get it on check-in day prior to 4pm check-in time which was the first red flag. At 4pm still did not receive the info and was told he would "send it soon" as we waited in the parking lot. By 5pm still no info and he would not answer the phone or respond to messages. I had to call VRBO and he wouldn't answer their call either, so they started to try to find other placement for us. FINALLY, at almost 6PM while on hold with VRBO he sent check-in information for a different unit. Thats when we learned there was an issue and he had been trying to find us another unit. It was an extremely stressful way to start out our family weekend!! Some honesty would have gone a long way. I would definitely rent this unit again but not with this property manager.
