Spacious and clean place to stay!

The house was spotless. The living area very large and comfy. Bedrooms also large with loads of space to put your suitcases. Air con worked very well.

This house was great for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was working how it should. The roomy sectional couch and recliner gave us plenty of room for everyone to sit on. The kitchen has a lot of counter space. The play space in the garage was great for getting kids out of the house but not out in the heat. The hosts were very easy to communicate with.

The entire house smells badly of cigarettes and was dirty with many things broken. The kitchen is seriously lacking in supplies (3 forks, 2 spoons, scratched Teflon pans, plastic plates, no cooking bowls, etc.). The host refused to refund my stay and said that the house does not smell like cigarettes. Me and my children smell so badly of cigarettes that our family we were visiting could smell it on us.

My first issue is VRBO states 11am check out but was then told 10am sharp to be out due to other renters coming. The house was not very clean, was not stocked well for your own cooking and eating which is why we got a house. Only 5Forks and spoons which is exactly how many guests there were. The dishes were dirty. Beds were not comfortable, only half the lights had working light bulbs. The floor was broke and we kept almost falling because of it. As coming from out of state it was a huge disappointment especially for the price. Should have stayed at a hotel. Better accommodations and cleaner.

Great Spot!!

Was a quick stay at this property. The house was very clean, very cutely decorated. Also, the beds were very comfortable. temperature of the house was perfect! The game room was set up nicely! If we ever go back to Apple Valley again, we will definitely consider this Vrbo property.

Desert Getaway

I had a great stay in Apple Valley! I needed a home base to visit friends and family and attend a wedding in Aqua Dulce. This place was super quiet and safe, very clean. The bed was comfortable. It’s very close to town for any needs, but also has access to some of the foothills and desert trails. I went hiking just a short distance from the house. My only suggestion is to bring your own kind of coffee if you prefer something other than Folger’s. I would 100% stay here again though! It was so great.

Apple Valley Tour

We were there to check out the area for possible relocation. The neighborhood is a mix of nice homes, empty lots and not so nice homes - this is not about the host’s home. The primary bath had some bug issues and the covered porch had a bird problem. Part of this is due to the general environment. The host was very responsive and living/dining/kitchen was nice.

Beautiful home

Cigarette smell lingered throughout the house, especially in one of the guest rooms and main bedroom/ closets. We purchased 4 Glade plugins and Febreeze which greatly helped but still had cigarette smell present. Disappointed in that I had asked prior to our arrival if the marijuana/ cigarette smell had been treated and was informed it had been. Alex was very kind and quick in responding to me. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable.

Marijuana smell & cigarette smell made our stay unpleasant.

Notified Alex immediately upon arrival, he did everything he could however it was enough. Previous guest or the cleaning crew smoked not only marijuana but cigarettes inside the house. We tried everything like candles, febreeze and open g up windows and doors to air out home. Our beds soaked up the odors of smoke causing sleeping to be difficult. It did not help as the smell was overpowering. Both my daughters have bad asthma and this really bothered my youngest daughter’s breathing capabilities. It’s completely unfortunate. Without this major issue- it would have been a better stay forsure. Cleaning company needs to do better forsure. The baseboards/ walls and stove/ microwave was a little gross. Not commonly seen areas are not cleaned after each stay. Also windows were unlocked when we arrived… not good for property owners.
