Our rates are based on up to 4 guests. Additional guests will be an additional $50 per guest, per night (plus tax) for up to an 8 person maximum occupancy. Please read our Cancellation Policy below...

Safety & Cleanliness are our focus. As always, fresh linens, towels, are amply provided. Surfaces are disinfected, and De Mar House features a Central AC/Heating System with HEPA filtration.

Located on picturesque First St, nestled among other Historic homes. Stroll to the heart of Downtown Napa, and the beautiful revitalized Napa Riverfront. The Uptown Theatre, The "Blue Note", Oxbow Marketplace, Napa Wine Train, over 25 downtown Wine Tasting Rooms, 6 Micro Brews, great shopping and dozens of restaurants including some of the finest dining in the Napa Valley, are all just steps away from this well appointed, private residence. Conveniently located between Rt 29 and Silverado Trail, De Mar House is a 5 minute drive to some wonderful vineyards and views. At the end of the day park the car, enjoy Downtown, and reflect on the day as you relax on the covered front porch. Dine in, and take advantage of numerous culinary markets. We take much pride in providing not just a house, but a comfortable home for our guest to enjoy. Come to De Mar House and live like a local in the breathtaking Napa Valley. Cheers!

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
1)If you cancel for any reason up to 30 days before arrival, 50% of your deposit will be kept. Cancellations that are less than 30 days before arrival total deposit will be non-refundable, unless rebooked. A $25.00 processing fee is charged for all cancellations. 1a) If cancellation is required due to Covid 19 mandates, and closures, or area wildfires cause the same, all monies paid will be applied to a future visit with no blackout dates, expiration or incurred fees.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please thoroughly was/dry all used dishes, pots, pans, etc, and return them to their places, checking that dishwasher has also been emptied. Clean toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc if used
Please leave sofa bed in open position if used
Please make certain the front and rear exterior doors are locked and the key is placed back in the lockbox
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Our Rates begin the base rate for 4 guests. Added guests are $50 per guest per night
House parties, large gatherings and excessive noise are prohibited under City Law, any violation will lead to eviction and forfeit of funds paid.
When returning Rental Agreement, credit card info and home address are Required to complete reservation within 48 hrs, for security purposes only.

Note for host: My guests commented that they had some difficulty opening the door.One comment that my visitors had was that they were unaware that the rooms had double and not king-sized beds. We likely missed this in the details at booking, though.We absolutely loved the antique paintings and photos. Guy did a fabulous job with this Victorian home.

We loved the location and the garden with the lovely flowers. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. Our only complaint might be that the TV was very small and we had trouble using it. But- we were really there for the scenery, wineries and restaurants. You can easily walk into town and to the cute stores in town. It easily fit two couples and there was certainly room for another couple without crowding.

We had the best time at De Mar house. Loved the decor which was classier and less kitschy in person than expected. Having separate bedroom bath was so lovely. the patio and porch were perfect for spring evening relaxation.Guy and Christina were helpful, resourceful and communicative, even when we had a minor issue. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Incredible stay

We loved our stay. It was a great location, and had everything we needed. Loved having lemon tree in the front yard, and an orange tree in the back. Owner is very thorough, and pays attention to details - in planning and booking. Definitely one of our favorite stays!
