Great hospitality and fabulous communication. The house was just what we needed for our trip to be successful. The house was clean, well maintained, and in a great location for walking or even hoping on the freeway. Guy and Cristina do a great job will all aspects of being a host for vacation rentals.

Five stars all around. Nice decor made us feel at home. Good location for us. Fantastic literature provided by the owner. It contained a map and spots to visit, including recommended restaurants. Little bit of street noise, with it all but gone after 11pm.

Note for host: My guests commented that they had some difficulty opening the door. One comment that my visitors had was that they were unaware that the rooms had double and not king-sized beds. We likely missed this in the details at booking, though. We absolutely loved the antique paintings and photos. Guy did a fabulous job with this Victorian home.

Very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We are quite clear with both our description and photos regarding our property, particularly regarding the size of the beds. As the renter, you should have conveyed this information to your guests. Tried the lock just this morning with the same key provided and had absolutely no issues. Wish you had notified us and we would have come right over to assist. We look forward to your return.

We loved the location and the garden with the lovely flowers. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. Our only complaint might be that the TV was very small and we had trouble using it. But- we were really there for the scenery, wineries and restaurants. You can easily walk into town and to the cute stores in town. It easily fit two couples and there was certainly room for another couple without crowding.

We had the best time at De Mar house. Loved the decor which was classier and less kitschy in person than expected. Having separate bedroom bath was so lovely. the patio and porch were perfect for spring evening relaxation.Guy and Christina were helpful, resourceful and communicative, even when we had a minor issue. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
