Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Nice and spacious, good location, some drawbacks
Pros:
2 baths
Good location: quiet, but near bars and restaurants and bus. We took public transport and it was great
SUPER easy check in day or night
Comfortable furniture
Nice upstairs shower (we didn't use the other one)
A few condiments in the kitchen
Had extra blankets sheets and space heaters
Has washer & dryer
Things that we think really need to change:
Needs window coverings in bedroom upstairs - there is no way yo have privacy or block light. We had to put up sheets in the upstairs window
Needs soap in the bathrooms (note that they had shampoo, just no soap)
Provide coffee for one day, even if it's instant. They could use the individual packets like are used in Europe. If guests get in late and don't have time to go get groceries, it is nice to have at least some coffee and creamer available.
To make it better:
Make available more than one dish towel and more than one dish cloth
Provide hand towels and wash cloths in the bathrooms
Each guest should get a fresh sponge and/or dish cloths (ours already smelled bad when we got there and we had to microwave it to make it usable)
More decorations and wall art would be nice
Things they can't help but guests should know about:
This is an old house with a steep narrow staircase with no handrails. This house would not be suitable for people with physical limitations or fear of heights
Tiny kitchen and no dishwasher (though they did a good job of stocking the kitchen with useful supplies)
