Great location, great place to stay. The bathroom is on the smallish side but didn’t bother us. Also, some lower shutters so you can keep the curtains open for natural light would be great. That said, I would easily stay here again.

Gwyneth was very welcoming and quick to respond to communications. She was always there if we had questions, but gave us space and privacy. The accommodations were everything we could hope for, comfortable, quiet and so well located. We loved staying there.

GREAT place to stay. Wonderful host, quiet block, very walkable to bus or streetcar for other neighborhoods. (Senior fare is 40 cents a ride!) After a few days exploring the Arts District and French Quarter, we simply stayed near Jasper's Corner Store-- walking, eating, drinking locally. Met lovely neighbors, heard fascinating stories, tried some interesting cocktails-- all reasons to come back again soon! Thank you, Gwyneth!

Our stay at this property was absolutely fantastic. The home was comfortable and clean, and the location couldn't have been better—perfectly situated for easy walks to the incredible restaurants and unique shops on Magazine and Tchoupitoulas. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, and the off-street parking was a huge plus. We would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a truly local experience during their visit.

The perfect spot

If you’re looking for proximity to everything New Orleans but be in one of the best neighborhoods you could find, this is it. The property itself is absolutely stunning with its high ceilings and southern charm. When I come back to New Orleans, we will plan our trip around staying here again!
