Welcome to NOLA! Located in Mid-City, this beautiful home is close to everything, and just a few steps to the Canal Streetcar line, where you'll have easy access to getting downtown! Indulge in eclectic cafes, bike rides along the Lafitte Greenway, and strolls through City Park. Mid-City is home to several great bars and restaurants like Wrong Iron, Bayou Beer Garden, Vessel, and Finn McCool's to name a few. Additionally, our property is just steps away from the Endymion Mardi Gras parade!
• Normal check-in time is 4 pm on the arrival date. For check-ins from 1 pm - 4:00 pm, it's an extra $50 to have an extra cleaner assist with servicing the property. Check-ins before 12:30 pm would require booking the previous night at a much-discounted rate. Contact the host for details.

This suite is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks including Jackson Square (2.1 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.8 Miles), The National WWII Museum (3.6 Miles), and the lush Garden District (3.8 Miles). North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Great Budget Option
This was a great option as we are traveling on a budget. The apartment truly is steps from Canal Street, the main street with the trolley running to the French Quarter and to City Park in the other direction. You could also walk the couple miles in either direction. The neighborhood right around the apartment does have a pub and a few restaurants, but if you want to eat your way around New Orleans like we did, you’ll be getting in the car or going a couple miles. The apartment itself is light, bright, spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked well. We like to cook, but the kitchen was not really stocked up for that.

Amazing Vacation@
We absolutely loved this property. Located just off of canal in a quiet neighborhood. . Just roomy enough for my Hubby and I plus our 10 lb chihuahua Sadie. Very clean and in great condition. Street Parking was a bit tricky but we managed. Loved sitting out on balcony in morning and evening! The only draw back were the stairs leading upstairs. Steep and narrow especially bringing in luggage but doable. Got in exercise for these 63 yr olds..lol. Trolley only working halfway to downtown. You had to get off and walk several blocks and catch another trolley on other side due to construction but we didn't mind using our own vehicle. Overall this was a great property and highly recommend! Thanks for a great time and first time using VRBO! Communication, check in and out was easy peasy!
