The location was perfect. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe. Everything was clean. It was nice to have parking too. It wasn't too expensive either. The only suggestions are to have a blackout curtain by the main bedroom area and a newer microwave. The regular blinds let a lot of light in early in the morning.
Cute, spacious, nice neighborhood, within walking distance to Tulane as advertised. Bed was smaller/less comfortable than we’d have liked, but everything else was great. (Don’t understand the question to rate the winery - this was not at a winery).
This is a wonderful place to stay in Nola. The apartment was clean, functional and fun. We loved the vibe there and the host, Thomas is a great guy. This spot is in an amazing neighborhood centrally located in Nola. Easy walking distance to the grocery store too.!
The guest apartment was fantastic. We loved all the space - the equipped kitchen, wash and dryer, two bathrooms.
The neighborhood was gorgeous.
Our hosts were great.
Couldn’t have had an easier or more pleasant stay. The property is 5 mins from the RTA pickup in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Tom was super attentive and eager to offer suggestions for places to see and eat and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay there again on a future return!
Loved our stay at Tom and Jenny’s place! Tom was very responsive and had some great recommendations on restaurants etc. Place is fantastic location with a Walgreens, grocery store, bakery within walking distance. Highly recommend!
Comfortable apartment in a lovely neighborhood. The host, Tom, was a great communicator and provided advice about the area. Convenient to public transport and walking distance to several nice restaurants. Highly recommend.
Off the beaten path but close to everything. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. We stayed 2 nights prior to our cruise and had a nice place to lay our heads at night. Open the kitchen window and have a nice view of the satsuma tree. Thanks for a lovely first experience in the Big Easy.
This worked out really well for us despite changing agendas and timeframes. Space is large, clean, and comfortable. Hard to beat the neighborhood. I would recommend this to anyone visiting NOLA.
Larger than expected apartment with plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home there. The neighborhood was beautiful. We even took an evening walk to look at all the houses and large oak trees that lined the streets. The hosts were great too, offering great suggestions on places to go in Nola. When we go back, this is where we will stay.
The unit is a converted game room in the basement. Remember, in New Orleans a basement is the ground floor. Comfortable space. Neighborhood is quite and near bus stop. Owner was welcoming. Would stay there again.
This property is in a beautiful neighborhood within a 15 minute drive of anywhere we wanted to go around New Orleans. Safe for morning walks. Fun decorating and everything available that one could need. Yes would recommend!
Tom and Jenny made this me and my t partner's favorite trip weve been on. They invited us to join them for a crawfish boil our first night! It aas delicious and made us feelmat home with them. From then on they checked on us asked us how our days went in New Orleans and made sure we were okay.
I cannot recommend this property and Tom and Jenny enough!! We will for sure be back.
Had a great time on a quick weekend trip. First floor apartment looked exactly like the pictures. We used the back bedroom so i can't speak for the murphy bed, but the bed was comfortable, the house was clean, and they had some nice touches that made us feel welcome.
The neighborhood is great and quite, with sidewalks so we could walk our dog without him getting too close to the street.
Beautiful neighborhood-close to street car & bus line.
Apartment worked great for me & a girl friend to enjoy Jazz Fest & French Quarter. Comfortable & cute!
There is only 1 bedroom- the other area is in the bar/living room & has a Murphy bed. It was very comfortable. We would go back!
Basement apartment has everything you need for a nice stay. It's comfortable for relaxing, reading, working, and taking in the sights of New Orleans. Located in a quiet neighborhood, we felt safe taking our puppy for walks at night, but conveniently located within a few blocks of the cable car that takes you downtown to Bourbon St. Hosts Tom & Jenny were easy to communicate with, and Jenny even let or puppy out when we were running late at a downtown jazz concert. We're hoping to return again next year.
Our trip to NOLA was so great! This house was in a safe neighborhood with easy on street parking. The house was clean and gave us plenty of space to spread out and not feel confined. The air conditioner was unable to keep up, and our visit was not in the hottest part of the summer (September). The bedroom was so warm sleeping in there wasn’t an option so we slept in the Murphy bed in the living room which put us in the same room as our kids. The owners were responsive to our questions and needs.
