About this property
Seawatch - Come watch the sea
Enjoy sweeping views of the beach, the dunes, and the boardwalk from Seawatch, an oceanfront vacation home in Long Beach. You can’t get any closer to the beach than this.
This comfortable, casual third-floor condo, accessible via stairs or elevator, has almost 900 square feet of living space, with 1 bedroom and 1½ baths, and sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. The open floor plan at Seawatch means you have gorgeous ocean views from the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, with a full-size microwave, blender, and even a French press and coffee grinder. There’s room to seat 2 at the breakfast bar, and the dining table seats 4 to 6.
There’s a king-size bed in the bedroom, which also features its own HD TV and an AM/FM radio with iPod dock/charger. The spacious full en suite bath has plenty of fluffy towels and a Raindance shower head with massage settings. The convenient half bath includes a full size washer and dryer for your use too. The living room features a HD TV and DVD player. Secure Wi-Fi is available, as well as expanded cable TV, a second AM/FM radio with iPod dock/charger, and an emergency weather radio. A full-size sofa bed sits in a nook surrounded by bay windows, and a queen-size sofa bed is in the living room. Just off the living room is an oceanfront lanai; canvas captain’s chairs can be moved outdoors for relaxed views of the ocean. Nature-watchers can scan the nearby dunes for ducks, deer, and other wildlife. Other amenities include a reserved parking space, a Graco Pac’N Play playpen/crib for toddlers, first-aid kit, books, games and puzzles.
Enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula. Seawatch is near the beach and the Discovery Trail, with an easy walk to beach activities or downtown. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, as well as lots of things for the kids to do, including the Kite Museum, bike rentals and horseback riding, and a movie theater. Miniature golf, an arcade, and carnival rides are just a few blocks away. The nearby Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve (Seawatch gives you a front-row seat).
There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula—all 26-plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment State Park and lighthouse are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. You’ll find great art galleries and a well-stocked bookstore at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s the Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers, and plants for sale. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. Ilwaco features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by great chefs. If you prefer to catch your own fish, take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna, or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants, a yarn shop, and gift stores. Visit historic Jack’s Country Store for groceries, hardware, general goods, and a variety of nostalgia-inducing items. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Leadbetter Point State Park, a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or the bay.
Seawatch is the perfect getaway on the Long Beach Peninsula!
