About this property

River Fox, enjoy this unique tranquil getaway in Scappoose! This floating home sits on the Multnomah Channel. It will transport you to a place that allows you to unwind in nature, enjoy breathtaking views, all without giving up creature comforts of home. This spacious home has a bonus sun room that you can meditate in or enjoy the peacefulness of the river. Sit out on the upper or lower deck and take in the stunning views of Mt. Hood, St Helens, or Adams. 20 minutes outside of Portland.
The space
This spacious home has two good sized guest rooms and a large master bedroom. It is a split level home with one of the bedroom's on the main floor. This room has a queen size bed and separate access to the shared bathroom. We also have an additional room that is a meditation/sun room and a reading nook upstairs. It has a large lower deck that has direct views of the river and mountains. It also has a large upper deck that can be accessed from both the master and sun room.

Other things to note
Scappoose has a quant downtown. Seasonal Saturday Market, lots of bike/walking trails that take you all the way to Vernonia.

Marina rules are enforced, rules available upon request. No pets, smoking, or children under 12 please.

Great place

This floating home was a great experience. Being on the water was very peaceful. The home is very nice and clean. We enjoyed spending time there. We would like to stay again next time we are visiting our family in Scappoose.

Home away from home

This is an amazing house on the water. We were there for a three day fishing trip and our guide Wade Grant (Rivertrek NW) told us about it. It was perfect as Capt Wade picked and dropped us off on the house dock each day. The house was very clean and cozy and provided us with everything we needed to have a relaxing evening after a long day on the water. The host answered all our questions in a timely fashion and was very friendly. I can't wait to stay there again on all my future fishing trips to this region.
