CASA BRAVA (Main House) is a stunning modern home perched high above the laid-back surf town of Sayulita. Its sweeping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the jungle, and the city will take your breath away. And the spectacular sunsets will stay etched in your memory forever!

This is a private home. Not a condo or townhouse.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bath MAIN HOUSE comfortably accommodates 4 guests and has its own private infinity pool which seems to flow endlessly into the sea. When you decide to break free from the magnetic pull of this tropical oasis you’ll discover that it’s only a 10 minute walk into town or to the beach where plenty of eating, drinking, shopping, surfing and people-watching options await.

THE SPACE
- 2 Bedrooms and 2 Baths (sleeps 4). In addition, the GUEST HOUSE (1 bedroom & 1 bathroom, sleeps 2) and STUDIO (sleeps 2) can accommodate an additional four people for a total of 8 people should you wish to rent the entire property

Wonder why there are so few reviews? We bought this house in Mar 2023 and VRBO deletes all reviews when there is a new owner. The former owner had 100s of 5-star reviews as you can imagine when you look at this property. For the reviews of the other places we own take a look at my profile.

Our English-speaking manager will answer your questions and help with all of your needs. Let us arrange transportation from the airport. Want to have a private cook come in to prepare Mexican meals one or two days that you are there? Or have a masseur set up a table on our terrace for an ocean view massage? These and even private yoga instruction can easily be arranged. Please email with any questions.

The home was designed by a well known Mexican architect in true contemporary style using concrete and entire walls of glass with wonderful inside/outside living areas. Handcrafted custom Parota wood louvered doors open onto decks, patios, the garden and pool area. Every individual detail was carefully chosen to complement and enhance the unique and comfortable design, such as the onyx walls, honed granite counters, and custom made furniture. Whether the perfect spot to relax is in one of the king sized beds featuring high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, the hammocks or the chaise lounges, that is entirely up to you to decide. If you can't completely leave the outside world behind, there is super fast Wi-fi throughout.

A car isn't necessary but lots of folks do prefer to have a car or rent a golf cart while at the house. You can always get a $5 taxi to the house, day or night... they are waiting in the plaza.

The house is totally private. It has exclusive use of its own walled garden and infinity pool.

We stayed for a week in the summer The property is a short walk to Sayulita village The house is fabulous and the outdoor space is stunning The property managers looked after us well Simple arrival and check out procedures The hill is a steep climb, but it does indeed get easier every time!

This was an incredible property in Sayulita! My friends and I made several comments about how the pictures don’t even do it justice. Super safe and clean. Amanda, the host, and Laura, the property manager were both fantastic. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We’ll be back!

This is not our first stay in PVR, and we all agree we’d return to Casa Brava main house. The layout was excellent for our group of four, the pool was a perfect (and necessary) addition, and we loved the outdoor space. The view is legendary! We picked the location because it was said to be quieter than other areas; however, we had coincidental timing of vacationing while Sayulita Days were in town. So it was quite loud. But we would still return and recommend the property. Thank you.

This place is jaw dropping! The view from the house is priceless. Every single room is amazing and you feel like you're in a dream. Everytime you walk in the house you can't believe this where you're staying. The house is well taken care of. The house manager is great and is there for you for whatever you need. The owners are great they provide so much information so you know what to do in Sayulita. My favorite part of the house is the pool and the views. Whenever I got to Sayulita I'm staying here.

Gorgeous pool and views!

This was a beautiful property. Great place to relax by the pool with beautiful views. Yet very close to town. Close enough to walk down and be anywhere in town quickly !! But it might be recommended to take a taxi back up! My teenage daughters loved how the speakers connected to their phone. There was quite a bit of construction up and down the road, but it didn’t bother us at all!! The open air concept is lovely in the morning to have coffee on the terrace with relaxing views , however be prepared to have the occasional inconvenience. Also, the main room and kitchen can get very hot late afternoons. The bedrooms were very nicely air-conditioned. Overall, an amazing , truly relaxing stay!!!

Paradise with a VIEW

If you know anything about Sayulita - you know that finding a place with a sunset view is TOUGH! Yet...here it is! We truly enjoyed being so high up above...but they don't joke when they say the hill to get here is steep! We rented a Polaris side by side for the week - and my hubby LOVED driving it up and down - but walking will be tough! The views are EPIC. The pool and deck areas are amazing. Place is well equipped for sure. We did have private chefs come in and cook for three meals - and LOVED this. You can not get this view at a restaurant! The bed was wonderful and the pillows just right ;-) I do a LOT of research before I pick a place to stay...and this one did not disappoint. PLUS the booking/arrival/communication process was stellar! What are you waiting for...GO!

Incredibly relaxing enjoying the beautiful modern home and private pool with stunning views

This is our second time visiting Casa Brava and it was just as wonderful and relaxing as the first time. We could have been quite content just staying at the house for our entire stay as the views and the house itself are stunning. We enjoyed lounging at the pool with it's spectacular view of the ocean and town. We could even see waves crashing on the beach during low tide. The birding from this house is incredible. Amazing to see a flock of orange-fronted parakeets circling the house in the mornings. We delighted in Chef Oscar Limon's culinary creations for several nights during our stay and the kitchen has a wonderful set up for indulging in this service. We so enjoyed his cooking and thoughtful attention and would highly recommend him. We also would recommend Nahomy from Luna Spa who came to house and is an amazing masseuse. As one of us was slightly injured, we figured out how to call the taxi stand in town center to come get us (and definitely to bring us back up the hill!) and enjoyed the wonderful restaurants, the Sayulita Wine Shop for tastings of tequila and Mexican wine (Baja has some incredible ones), and of course, Playa de Los Muertos for beach time.

We've owned vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe, California for over 15 years. We've been in love with Mexico, and particularly Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta for years. We are very fortunate to have purchased Casa Brava in March 2023. We're going to spend as much time as we can at Casa Brava but with two kids it won't be nearly as much as we'd like. We're glad that we can make Casa Brava available for others to enjoy when we can't be there.The house is completely dialed in as a rental with it's own full-time house manager, full-time house cleaner, and a pool and landscape maintenance person.
