About this property

Black Dog Inn, Relaxing Retreat Near Gorge Amphitheater & River

Welcome to your new favorite place to stay in Quincy, Washington, just minutes from the Gorge Amphitheater with private off-street parking! While you’re here, experience everything Quincy and the surrounding areas have as a local. And you’ve got the connection because we have lived in this spectacular community for more than 20 years!

With experience comes knowledge, and we can share some of the best hidden gems with you and your loved ones to explore. Each of our properties is within 10 minutes of the GORGE Amphitheatre – a must-see no matter what season! Our properties offer private off-street parking for your convenience with plenty of beds for sleeping, so we can accommodate most size groups in our modern and clean properties.

Once you arrive and settle in, it’s time to map out your stay. If it’s warm out, you’ll want to discover our local swimming holes and lavender farm. The cooler months are the best time to re-energize your soul with peace and solitude. But at all times of the year, Quincy and the local areas offer plenty to do for all ages, interest levels, and athletic pursuits.

Don’t forget the main attraction, the Gorge Amphitheater, is just minutes from your home-away-from-home. The views alone are spectacular, and if you’re here for an event, you will be awe-struck by the experience.

Now it’s time to create your bucket list for your stay:

Wine-tasting at local vineyards
horseback riding
hiking
star-gazing
rock climbing
sightseeing
museums
golfing
ATVs
biking
lavender farm (open April – September)
boating and boat tours
or even rodeos

We have many long-term guests, from traveling nurses or those in technology who work long and unusual hours, which is why we have black-out curtains on every property so you can get the sleep you need.

While you’re visiting, channel your inner creative self. Writers and artists love to come here to get inspired by the incredible scenery as words fly off their fingertips and brush strokes hit the canvas.

What we find most often is that our guests come to Quincy to chillax and get away from it all. Nothing recharges the soul more than a weekend, or a week or two, out in nature to reconnect with each other and the planet. The Gorge is awe-inspiring, and while taking in the majestic beauty of it all, you’ll feel your heart soar.

After a full day of activities, you can enjoy our outdoor areas to relax with a glass of local wine or a cuppa joe and enjoy our incredible sunrises or sunsets while taking long deep breaths of the fresh air.

Now it’s time to pack your bags and get ready for a wonderful stay at our property! We’re excited to have you, and remember, if you need anything, we’re right here.
