About this property

Cozy cabin retreat close to kayaking and hiking trails.

The fully furnished log cabin will sleep 5 to 6 adults comfortably with one queen and three twin beds. Additional amenities include: full refrigerator, new stove, microwave, coffee pot, washer/dryer and small TV. There is a full bathroom downstairs with shower and bath tub.

The cabin is on a working ranch surrounded by woods and pastures with food plots and wildlife ponds. It is a great place for 4-wheeling. We are very near 2 rivers which are great for kayaking.

The cabin was built in 2009 with local timber. It has an open floor plan with a full bathroom. The kitchen has a new stove and full sized refrigerator. The furnishings, beds, and bedding are all new. The cabin has a private drive, parking space, and a nice outdoor fire pit. It sits on a hillside surrounded by forest land. Also the cabin is a great place for a romantic getaway or a break from the fast pace of the city.

The cabin, lawn, and fire pit are yours to enjoy during your stay. The 800 acres around the cabin is a working cattle ranch which can be accessed with additional arrangements.

There are a couple of great restaurant/bars in the neighboring area. Of course you may bring food to prepare at the cabin. The cabin has a coffee pot.

We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin and it was everything we expected. We loved the rustic nature atmosphere as we were in the area for trout fishing. Communication with the owners was excellent and everything as promised and described. Would highly recommend this cabin if you're in the area

Simple, a bit rustic, very clean, and exactly what we were looking for. Three days of fishing at Rockbridge were easy, a reasonably quick drive, and very affordable. Everything three adults needed was available and worked. And there is a nice fire pit area in the rear years area. Call it just tight for a fishing family or 3-4 people. Reminder: you are in the woods. We had a very small bug zapper we kept on the first floor which proved a good idea .

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was as advertised. It’s a quick drive to the trout park and very private. The hosts are also very accommodating and quick to respond. It exceeded my expectations!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, we loved it and honestly didn't wanna leave. Only real issue we had was the bed down stairs is super soft and absolutely killed my back. Ended up trying the twins upstairs and that was much better. Shower rod in bathroom kept falling. Sounds like bearing goin bad in AC upstairs, it's gotta little squealing goin on. To new people goin here, you may want to write down directions, poor cell service. We nearly got lost. But worth it. Lol. Beautiful clean cabin!!

Great Country Cabin

Nice little cabin. Drive around drive way…stay left as you enter the property. It circles clockwise. No blow dryer (ladies bring your own). Cabin lighting is what you should expect, it not super bright but very functional. The county road is gravel, no issue for us. Very cozy for two, we stayed downstairs, the stairs are steep…think ladder steep. If bringing young-uns be mindful. We did live out of our luggage as “storage” space is limited, but not a broblem, Long haired folks, shower works but may take longer than your used to at home. Great fire pit on location.For us fishing at Rockbridge the place was perfect. Will be back.

Cabin was great and literally had nearly anything we could need. At ZERO fault of the owners, we were caught in flash flooding and unable to leave but we made the best of it. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Convenient Location to Rockbridge Trout Ranch

Stayed with family for a few days fishing and was a short 10 minute drive to Rockbridge Trout Ranch. Secluded and had all basic amenities needed for the short stay.
