We loved our stay! Peaceful surroundings, great bedrooms all with bathrooms, the deck was incredible. The kitchen could be updated but not a big deal to us. Great stay!
Are stay with all of our family was relaxing and tranquil. If you are looking for beauty and a peaceful place—this it. Plus as an added bonus it’s economical.
This place is amazing. Host was exceptional at responding to questions and info about the area. Place was roomy and comfortable. Immediately felt welcome and at home. Definitely planning to make this a regular getaway.
Loved the lodge! It is western rustic. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the crickets, coyotes, turkeys and elk bugling. Plenty of room for all our friends. We had our sxs and enjoyed riding all over the mountains. We plan to go back again!
Lots of space to move about. The care taker was super nice and even brought a horse ove to pet and feed carrots to. Loved that each room had there own window ac. Wish there was one downstairs in the dinning room area for the afternoons got a bit warm on the 90 degree days. Use of the walkin cooler was great to store extra bottles of water.
We had a wonderful family stay at Seven Devils Lodge. Up to 11 of us were there and the spacious accommodations handled our group beautifully from bedrooms, cooking facilities and living area including a beautiful deck and ranch grounds. It is relatively near Hells Canyon (though the narrow dirt road may not be for everyone). In general, the remoteness of the property is going to be an asset or liability, depending on one’s goals for their stay. We loved it and enjoyed exploring the mountains in the vicinity as well as an outing to McCall. Highly recommended if a getaway without busyness and noise, but with plenty of wildlife and serenity, is what you’re after.
Property was good. The best thing about it was it is just off the beaten path, so it was a very quiet neighborhood. The views from the back deck were simply amazing. We saw deer and many elk each evening. The deck is nice and large and will accommodate large gatherings/families. The house had several amenities such as a volleyball net, large ice maker, washing machines and dryers, and the kitchen area was well equipped.
Our family had a wonderful time here! Plenty of space and absolutely gorgeous scenery! The deck was amazing! Very well stocked kitchen. Seasonings, sauces, mixers, griddle, cookie sheets, cutting boards, mini fridge in the bar, etc. etc. And to have a bathroom in every bedroom was amazing! (Plus another half bath)It was very warm though and ceiling fans would have been nice on the main floor. The ice machine was great but the motor kicked out a lot of heat. Take note if you go for a walk on the narrow gravel road do NOT walk down to the pond and out onto the floating deck. There were no "keep out" or "no trespassing" signs but there was a hostile sign posted AFTER we were there. Was hoping for hiking trails but didn't see any. So other than that one negative experience it was a wonderful time!
