This property was awesome. I few friends and myself came down for a cornhole tournament at the northern quest casino. We wanted to stay together so we rented this beautiful historic home. It was the cleanest VRBO i have ever stayed at. Thank you for this amazing place!
Our family loved this property for March madness. We walked to the arena every day and toured the downtown area, lots of places to eat and things to see. Was just what we needed.
We needed a place large enough to accommodate 3 couples and 2 teens for Christmas and this was just right. The hosts had the Christmas tree set up for us and decorations on the fireplace mantle. They were easy to communicate with so we could properly prepare for our trip. The home itself has high ceilings and beautiful details. The kitchen was stocked with the utensils we needed to make several meals and we were able to enjoy eating in the gorgeous dining room. We played games and enjoyed a scavenger hunt in quiet downtown on Christmas day. We never heard a sound from the basement tenant. The only thing that would have been more comfortable was more seating in the living room, as we had to sit on the floor to all be together. Also, there is not a convenient place to hang jackets, towels, or clothing on the main level.
Keith and Marisa were great hosts and very attentive when we asked any questions. We had a multi-day stay so they asked if everything was going well too. The house is beautiful and spacious, and the top story was great for the kids to play. Overall a great stay and would recommend.
We enjoyed staying in your beautiful historic home! We were in town for our son's graduation on the Gonzaga campus and worked out well for our group of 9! Owners are very responsive and welcoming.
All of us LOVED the character of the home. It felt like a home with touches of the past that fit easily into our present. We had plenty of room for all of us, and appreciated the doll house, books and playground for our youngest granddaughter. We felt comfortable and had the space to enjoy our time together as a family.
Lovely, comfortable home with lots of character and charm, we really enjoyed the outdoor space, the hosts responded quickly to any questions we had, close to everything, hoping to stay again soon!
Traveling as a group of four adult friends from the Seattle area visiting Spokane for the weekend. The house worked GREAT for us. Spacious, very nice common areas (kitchen, dining room, living room, and more), and five bedrooms (and three baths)! Charming, historic, peaceful. Soaring ceilings, lots of cool historic features. On a lovely corner lot that was super-convenient to downtown Spokane. Well-provisioned kitchen and beautiful dining room. Highly recommend!
We were in town for a family reunion, and while we only told a few people where we were staying, word quickly spread and we ended up giving tours of the house! It was so beautiful!
There was also a wind storm the day we arrived and branches fell into the yard. Told the owners, and they were there the next morning to clean it up. Very quick response.
Neighborhood was a bit sketchy, but they had security cameras outside, so we felt safe.
The is a beautifully updated historical home with modern finishes that still fit the aesthetic of the home. The neighborhood was on par for the general area, which is a little sketchy, but it felt safe and secure. The location was so close (1 mile) to where we needed to be for a large sporting event at The Podium.
The owner was proactive and wonderful to work with. It appears this home is for sale, but we’d love to stay again if it is still available when we return.
We appreciated the historical home and all the nuances in the floor plan. Well done in renovations and felt updates tried to keep theme of house. Close to where we needed to be for sporting events. Great character in the house.
We were in town for a basketball tournament and it was last minute so we had a couple families needing somewhere convenient and spacious. The host allowed us to have team dinner and team meetings at the house and was so gracious and accomadating. The Muzzy Mansion is amazing especially the historic meaning it has to Spokane. Highly reccomend for groups and families!
What a treat to stay in such an amazing historic home. We were are group of 7 ladies and everything was perfect. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for lots of room and space to spread out.
The hosts were great to communicate with and always replied very quickly.
The house is lovely and clean on neighborhood that is evolving. Nice homes and some not as nice. Interesting passersby. Had trouble getting the lockbox open for the key, but fortunately the owner was nearby and gave us a key and took the box so they could fix it. They were easily accessible for any questions. The house is close to downtown and close to my daughters house. Big enough for the family to get together for a game night. Thanks for everything
This property was wonderful for our family reunion! There were plenty of bedrooms and we brought an air mattress so our grandkids could sleep in their parents room. The only issue we had is the kitchen has this wonderful big island in the middle of the room which made it difficult to work with more than 2-3 people in the room. There was a variety of things to do in Spokane which meant we could all go our separate ways at times and do a group activity on other days. We were lucky with the weather which was hot but with a breeze. A day or two of light sprinkles but not enough to keep us from doing outdoor activities. The owner and family were very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend this property for anyone interested in exploring Spokane!
Don’t let the neighborhood dissuade you, it’s actually quiet and lovely. Home is roomy and beautifully updated. The house was great for our family in town for a wedding. It is conveniently situated for both downtown and all points around. Hosts were spectacularly attentive!
