House was incredibly clean, same as last time we stayed. Well stocked with everything you could need and beautiful property. Very nice host who is very responsive.
Nice cabin in the woods but still close enough to walk to the marina. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. We had deer walking through the yard and it was peaceful and serene. We stayed just after Labor Day so the lake season was winding down and it was quiet. Would recommend for a family with kids as well.
We loved our stay! It has a beautiful deck to hangout on, horse shoe pit, plenty of room for boats and vehicles, nice and shady. The inside was nice and clean, and is clearly kept up with. We don’t have a single complaint- we’ll definitely be back next summer!
We normally try to be very easy guests, but Julie got us on a wild evening. After braving 70 mph winds, wildfires, and dust storms we rolled in for a wedding in the area. We checked in and had to leave for the stag party, but on the way out I noticed that there was a tree leaning on the power lines. I tried to look up the local power company, but there were so many coops that I couldn’t distinguish which one was in the area. Julie called and got it taken care of before we were even gone two hours, which was pretty amazing considering all that the local electric companies were dealing with. I wish that we had been able to enjoy the outdoor area more than we had, but the wind/dust/smoke and then the cooler temperatures prevented it! The front porch is built for a morning read and a cup of coffee. The squirrels all came to see if we might leave some snacks out by accident and even a friendly neighborhood dog came up to see if we happened to have treats! I always ask my friends if there is anything we would like to tell the host and if we would like to stay there again. They all said we should check in for at least a week next time and turn off our cell phones! Thanks for making such a crazy weekend so easy! Now we’re all home and have to do repairs to OUR houses after that weather. Maybe we shouldn’t have come home! :D
