About this property

Beautiful brand new home with an amazing panoramic view of Kachemak Bay: including the Kenai Mountains and Grewingk Glacier. We're located on the Homer bench and we're just a short drive to the Homer Spit with shops, fishing and great places to eat. Our home has an open concept great room area with room for everyone to spread out. There are 3 bedrooms: a king master suite with a walk-in shower and 2 more bedrooms that share the guest bathroom. We have blackout blinds in all the bedrooms, so you can sleep well in our long summer days. Unwind on our deck after a full day of fishing, playing and exploring.

This house has a water tank in the crawl space. Water is delivered weekly. Because we do not want our guests to run out of water, we have put a camera in the crawl space so we can occasionally look at water levels.

Excellent accommodation for 6, comfy in winter, great view

This property proved ideal accommodation for our group of four adults and two young children. We enjoyed the great view when it came out on clear days. It was also a particularly convenient location for us, close to East End Road about half-way between central Homer in one direction and in the other Fritz Creek where we were visiting for Christmas. The house is well appointed, well equipped, comfortable (even on cold winter days and nights), and offered everything we needed or wanted (well, apart from a garage 😊). A minor issue with a defective coffee maker was quickly resolved by our host. We did not get to meet her, but all our interactions online and via text were very pleasant and professional. We would stay there again – and may – if occasion and opportunity arise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed the view from the windows and back deck. The kitchen worked well for us. There was plenty of room for us to cook. The bedrooms had plenty of room and the beds were so comfortable. The master bathroom and shower were wonderful. We would definitely stay here again
