Home was perfect for our long stay. The backyard is great and we enjoyed watching the roadrunner who came out every evening. The Purple mattresses are very comfortable. We had plenty of linens and supplies, which we greatly appreciated and haven’t received at some of our stays at other properties. The home is private, yet close to shopping, zoos, restaurants, and the highway to travel. The host was very helpful and communicative. We will definitely ask to stay here again!
The Lakehouse was a wonderful vacation. Amazing setting on a pretty lake with a lot of beautiful birds, the house was clean, very well kept and the host was very responsive.I would stay there again the next time I pass through Wichita!
Jennifer the Host was outstanding! The place was one of the very best I've stayed at. The outdoor space is the highlight, but the home is very very nice also. Would love to come back.
The property was just as described and fully stocked with all the things you need and more. The house and property were exactly what we wanted it to be for a small gathering of our grandkids and their parents who are currently living in Wichita. We had a little snag with check-in and getting the door code but once that information was sent via text, it worked perfectly and Jennifer was very responsive in helping get that ironed out. We tried to leave it just the way we found it! We really enjoyed the property and plan to come back later this year. Thank you for sharing such an awesome property with all of us!
This beautiful lake house was everything we hoped for. Extremely clean and well furnished with everything we needed. We caught at least 20 fish and enjoyed the wildlife. We saw a deer across the lake, water snakes, muskrats, owls, huge blue herons, cardinals, and the enchanting fireflies at night. We loved sitting out on the deck with bbq and table to enjoy looking out at the lake and enjoying the peace and quiet. The location was nice too. We love trying craft beer at different breweries so we were only 10-15 minutes from most of them in downtown along with fun boutiques to explore. We highly recommend making memories at this beautiful home.
Beautiful property for our 3 night stay. There were two of us. We loved the deck. Fire flies galore and an owl that hung out for all three evenings. Wonderful to watch. Bring a portable mirror and there is a desk that can serve as a vanity to help with getting ready since there is only one bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and bedding. Bring your own pillow unless you are a fan of the heavy purple pillow. Would definitely stay again.
The cottage is exactly as described. I was traveling with my 2 senior parents. The space was easily accessible, clean and a terrific location. We would stay again.
Perfect for our first time trip to Wichita to help daughter move. Will definitely stay at this property again when we return to visit! Perfect location, perfectly appointed property - no negatives!
Cute home with beautiful view of lake from back of house and deck. Enjoyed grilling steaks/cooking dinner to host local daughter and friend. Good location!
Cozy and comfortable home for the three of us. Appreciated selection of coffee, tea and snacks provided. Quiet surroundings and very relaxing. Chilly weather and the heat worked great. Only drawback was the inoperable fireplace, but that was not an issue for us. Plan to stay here again the next time we are in Wichita.
Possibly add a shower bar for older adults and some hand rails on steep steps to base, ent and steps in front and deck.. Gate on steps so small child doesnt fall down them. ch addition in front kept falling down, pretty unsafe to sleep on. I personally had a very hard time getting in the beds all
We had an amazing stay at Swan Shores! Everything is as advertised! The place was very clean and welcoming! The backyard is amazing! We enjoyed fishing, the wildlife and amazing sunsets! We will definitely be back again!

Once we finally got the key pass it was a very pleasant experience
This is a very nice updated house and the private lake is the icing! We were here for medical appointments and this gave my husband a chance to stretch out or sit up comfortably in the living area or step out for fresh air AND fish. And let me tell you, these fish BITE. He caught one every time he went out. The duck and geese just make it even that much better listening to them, watching them. The hostess responds quickly and is very attentive in making the stay the best possible.
