Elegant Treetop Escape in Big Canoe, close to all amenities. Dog friendly!

Our "Treetop Escape" is an elegantly designed, family friendly, mountain or golfer's getaway. Guests will feel right at home, as it is prepared with everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
This home has been beautifully renovated and has seasonal views of the Lake and Mountains on the wrap around porch!
Situated only minutes away from fine dining and resort style amenities to compliment your mountain getaway. The home has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a pull out double bed. The living area is decorated to provide the best possible views of the lake and surrounding trees. There is a full kitchen, which is stocked with pots and pans and everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal. Wi-Fi is available as well as three smart TVs (with Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video etc. available for guests to login with own accounts). Coffee, tea and bottled water are always stocked in the home for your convenience. The wraparound deck contains table, chairs and an electric grill for cooking out.
The home is located in the Big Canoe Mountain Community, one hour north of Atlanta, Georgia. Big Canoe provides a park-like setting that includes 8,000+ acres of pristine woodlands, meadows, lakes and streams, and resort style amenities. The home is less than a mile to most of amenities.
Pets are welcome with a one time fee per stay. Due to the size of the property we expect a maximum of two medium sized dogs. Please contact us for requests that exceed this. Please note additional cleaning fees may be imposed for pet related issues.

I can’t say enough great things about this tree topper! It is conveniently located close to The Big Canoe clubhouse and Beach Club amenities. The WiFi is fantastic as we both worked remotely during this stay. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The home is equipped with anything you could need. Owners are super responsive and kind. I will be requesting this property every summer if available.

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully updated treehouse. Everything we needed, including a bed for our dog was ready for us upon arrival. The hosts werevery responsive. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate, but we still had a nice stay.

Amazing experience

As this is my first time to the Big Canoe this stay has set the bar high for my expectations. I loved all the amenities offered in this home. The decorations are beautiful, updated and just as the pictures described. I would love to return for a home away from home getaway. Loved every moment of it. I ate at the restaurant on the property and visited one of the local winery.

Big Canoe “tree house”

The house is really clean and secluded— you feel like you’re in a tree house. Everything was as pictured. The owner is very quick to communicate throughout the process. We would definitely stay again! Just one note—The development is huge with lots to offer but I wouldn’t want to be finding the house (or any house in there) in the dark for first time.

Great get away

This is the cutest place. My husband and I stayed here for three nights with our dog. The place is very well stocked with anything you can imagine that you would need not only for humans but for your dog too. It was perfect for a quick getaway and we will definitely be back. Got to see a big black bear as well.

Excellent Cabin

This is the second time we have stayed in this cabin, and once again I will tell you, you can eat off of the floor it is immaculate! It is very cozy and it has everything you need. Our dog, Jake, is always comfortable as well. I enjoyed sitting outside, it is so quiet and peaceful. Great hosts and we will be back for sure! Thank you Doug and Lorraine!

Terrific time during our Treetop travels

My husband, our sweet pup and I had an incredible time during our stay at this charming and quaint cabin. A wonderful stay!

The property is cute and well equipped. The location in Big Canoe is wonderful. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. They proactively suggested we reschedule when the weather was expected to get severe. We did reschedule and ended up enjoying a positively beautiful weekend. We hope to come back soon!
