This property has been completely remodeled to be the perfect getaway for multiple families with kids. There are 3 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms to retreat to and kids are in heaven in their bunk room and adjacent lounge where they can watch a show, play video games and hang out. This place is designed for family meals with an open concept chef's kitchen that flows into spacious dining room with separate bar area and sparkling water tap. The living room has a vaulted ceiling, modern gas fireplace and seating for everyone including a "puzzle" table to play games (or yes, do one of the many jigsaw puzzles). The living room has huge windows and french doors that open to a great back patio with spaces that back onto national forest land with trails to explore.

Choose from 2 world class resorts just 10 minutes away in summer or winter. This place is perfect for ski getaways with room in the 2 car garage for your skis and a boot dryer and the perfect entryway to store all ski gear and get ready for your day out. In the summer there's beautiful trails right out your door and private backyard to hang out, read your book or maybe just nap in a hammock.

After a hard day's fun, relax in the hot-tub or take a steam and relax to some tunes over the whole home audio system.

Mountain easy living

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful vacation rental, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. The property is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by forest and just across the street from a park with a playground and an awesome sledding hill. The house itself is simply gorgeous - spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could ask for. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully furnished, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. I particularly loved the kitchen, which was fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and everything we needed to prepare delicious meals during my stay. And for the times we didn't want to cook, there were tons of restaurants 5 minutes away. We love skiing with the kids at Beaver Creek and this house was less than 5 minutes from the resort gate. After a long day of skiing the kids still had energy to sled the epic hill just across the street and the adults could relax in the large living room surrounded by the forest. When folks needed a bit of downtime, the kids could hang in their awesome lounge space and the grownups had plenty of space to watch a movie or listen to music in the many common areas. There are 2 flights of stairs to get to the main level from the street, but that's mountain living I guess! Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway with friends and family!

A Spacious Gem of a Ski House in Avon, Perfect for Families and Groups!

We recently stayed at this spectacular Avon ski house, and it was truly unforgettable! The property offered comfort, spaciousness, and convenience - perfect for our large group. This home provided ample space for everyone to relax without feeling cramped. The living areas were beautifully designed, with a family room ideal for movies, game nights, or simply unwinding. The hot tub, visible from the family room, allowed us to monitor the kids while they enjoyed themselves. The bunk areas in the kid's room were a hit, while adults appreciated the bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen was a delight for our group that loves to cook and share meals. Well-equipped and spacious, it facilitated memorable moments as we prepared meals together. The warming drawers were a huge win, especially for managing meals for our large group. Nestled near Beaver Creek in Avon, the location allowed easy access to world-class skiing at Beaver Creek and Vail. We maximized our time on the slopes and explored the beautiful area, including nearby National Forest lands for snowshoeing and the adjacent park for sledding. The immaculate mudroom and entryway made daily transitions to and from the mountain a breeze. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, reflecting the hosts' dedication to providing an exceptional stay. In summary, this Avon ski house exceeded all expectations and was the perfect home base for our unforgettable Colorado vacation. We highly recommend it to families and large groups seeking a spacious, comfortable, and convenient getaway. We purchased this property in 2014 and set to making it the perfect place for us to gather together family and friends for a mountain get away. We love entertaining and upgraded the entire layout to work for multiple families with kids. The chef's kitchen is beautifully configured so everyone can be part of the action. We're big hikers and skiers so the entryway is configured to store our gear and is the perfect mudroom to organize coats, shoes and more!

Why they chose this property

Our family loves skiing and Beaver Creek is our favorite resort for a mix of beginner terrain and expert bumps. The community of Eagle-Vail is conveniently located 10 minutes from Vail and <5 minutes to the Beaver Creek entrance giving us great options. This property backs onto national forest providing privacy and a wooded backyard, but it's just minutes to restaurants, shops and more. In the summer this offers access to trails right out the back door and easy access to the eagle-vail community pool, courts and golf course.

What makes this property unique

Room for multiple families and friends to gather. 3 good-sized King bedrooms with en suites bathrooms mean parents aren't sacrificing comfort.
Lots of separate spaces for different groups: kids, parents, grandparents can be part of the group, or retreat for some downtime.
