Amazing Cottage Close to Beach!

My friends and I had a great weekend at the cottage! The hot tub was a highlight, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We appreciated the plants and fresh flowers throughout the space. Great location with an easy walk through a lovely neighborhood to the association beach. Pics and info in the listing were an accurate representation. Highly recommended!

Fun Getaway

We had a great time at this cottage. It is quaint, but just enough space for our family of 5 to stay comfortably. About a 5min walk to the private beach, and short drives to plenty of public beaches. Host was very attentive and included thoughtful details and amenities throughout the property.

Cozy cottage

This property was amazing! The attention to detail by Beth is top notch. We had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked, fresh linens, clean towels including towels for the beach/hot tub. The neighborhood was gorgeous & the short walk to the beach was great. We would recommend this place 10 times over.

Our stay was exceptional!

This newly renovated property was so tastefully decorated and the owner thought of everything! Beautiful decor and such a beautiful area with a 5 minute walk to Sturgeon beach. (Which we enjoyed a fall walk on the beach!) We were very close to a lot of great places in New Buffalo. I would suggest eating at Skips restaurant right up the road and enjoying a few wineries Thank you to our host for such a great place to make a very memorable weekend! I would highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Summer sailing

This property is in an amazing location, lovely, private on the fringe of everything popular. Private beach in walking distance. This property has everything you could want or need for a fantastic stay, away. Not only beautifully decorated but every thought was considered with the guests' in mind. Absolute gem👍

Very nice cottage for fun in the sun

We had a great weekend at the cottage. The home is very nicely updated and had everything we could need and then some. We used this house as overflow for a home our family owns just down the road and it was the perfect location. The communication with Beth was smooth and we enjoyed her nice touches! We will definitely be booking again next summer! Thank you!

Weekday Stay

If you are thinking of staying at this cottage, do it! The check in process was easy and communication was excellent with the property owner/manager. The cottage was extremely clean. The cottage had recently been renovated with really tasteful updates. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked with plates/cooking utensils as well. It was a short walk to the private beach. The area around the cottage was fairly secluded and very quiet. This stay was exactly what I was needing and I would highly recommend this property.

Great home - will visit again!

We had a fantastic time in New Buffalo during our weekend stay at this wonderful cottage. Everything was fully stocked and then some, they have thought of everything! For the beach there were towels, chairs, a wagon all ready to go along with tons of yard games and a fire pit and the hot tub was so clean. We loved cuddling with our kids on the window seat overlooking the backyard and had meals in the sunroom. The beach is very close just a quick walk down the street and it was never busy even on a beautiful weekend with perfect weather. We are planning our next trip back and hope to stay here again, thank you for sharing your home with us.

Such an amazing location

I absolutely love the location of this house, the walk to the beach is very short and the beach never had more than 10 people on it (weather was not amazing during our stay). New buffalo is such a cool town, we loved how laid back everything was. The one thing I'll note is that the town basically closes at 9:30pm, we arrived late on our first night and had to backtrack 20ish minutes to a larger town to get groceries. The communication from the host was phenomenal and every detail was thought through at this house. I had never been to lake Michigan before but all we've talked about on the car ride home is how soon we'll be coming back!

Perfect Getaway

Our stay surpassed our expectations. The house is charming, as well as everyone in this close knit community. The attention to every little detail was exceptional; every conceivable detail was well though out and provided. From beach chairs, umbrella, toys, an amazing beach carrier, etc. the kitchen is fully stocked with odds and ends (so we didn’t need to run out for things like zip lock bags, tinfoil, spices, etc). The host really created a wonderful and unique getaway in that they’ve plans for all the little things which has removed any potential stress and we really appreciated it. We are already planning the next time we can book.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent. A peaceful, beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to a private beach access. We loved the hot tub, fire pit and hammock. We watched movies on the big screen tv. Rode bikes. Ate at The Stray Dog and Beer Church Brewery. Shopped downtown. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. Communication was great. Highly recommend!!!

Adorable little bungalow that allowed us access to enjoy many outside activities -- hiking, the beach, hitting the art shops and then relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub.Some food suggestions? Breakfast at Jackie's or Dave's Deli and you cannot go wrong. Dinner at the Terrace Room or Brewsters is excellent. I would pass on The Stray Dog. Average burgers and the view isn't that great after all.We'll likely be back sometime.

The house is on a quiet street just a few minutes from 2 entrances to the beach. The house is less than a 5 min drive to restaurants, a grocery store, shopping and Starbucks’ everything for an enjoyable stay!

This is the perfect cottage for a family of four beach getaway. It was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with all of the necessities plus extras - beach chairs and umbrella, children's toys, etc. The nearby, private neighborhood beach was a pleasant walk away.
