World class walleye fishing destination. Set up for fisherman by fisherman. Located less than a mile from the Riverside boat launch, three riverfront parks with shore fishing access, and Moe's bait shop. Accommodations include 62 foot long driveway, park up to 3 boats, exterior electrical outlets for charging batteries, fish cleaning station with running water, chest freezer, outdoor kitchen area with a grill, gas cooker, fire pit and seating. Six beds that can sleep up to 8 guests.

House close to boat dock

We stayed here for a couple of nights while fishing Lake St Claire. Super close to the boat dock and only a mile from downtown Grosse Point. Downtown is awesome with several very good restaurants and bars. The house is in an older neighborhood and was very quiet. Host was very communicative and helpful.

Chalmers house rental

Lots of room to sleep, comfortable chairs and couches in living room. Nice front porch for coolers, etc. Comfortable beds, great fish cleaning station. Room to park boats and trailers. A minute drive to Riverside boat launch. Second time staying, will come back again.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at the home. Very nice and pleasant experience. Kenny is very nice man who responded very quickly when we needed help with washing machine and he came over to help us out. I would come back and stay again

Great place for fishermen

The house was clean, had a great fish cleaning station, owner removed all fish carcasses for us. Excellent proximity to a very non busy boat launch. We will definitely use this again. Not to mention we took Ken up on his offer to fish with us. Put us on limits. Great guy.

Perfectly represented. Definitely not the Ritz, but perfectly situated to spend time fishing the river or Lake St Clair. Kenny was very helpful putting us on fish and responded quickly to any communication. Would recommend.

Fishing Trip

Property was located a couple blocks from public fishing access on the Detroit River, public boat ramp & a bait store nearby to buy fishing license, bait, etc. Neighborhood was quiet and we had no issues of anyone messing with our stuff. House is older but was clean, had a decent size living room & dinning room to chill out inn. There was plenty of beds to accommodate everyone. Being able to relax after all day on the lake fishing at a house instead of a hotel room was nice.

Everything is close easy access

If you want a fish in Detroit and you wanna catch walleye and you wanna close boat ramp and you don't like long lines? This is the spot for you. And if you want any information your host will provide it. He was very quick with responses and helped out. Has parking available for up to 3 trucks and trailers with boats up to 21' long. The cleaning station was very nice..
