The house is a tiny house in a quiet neighbourhood built by the owner(my dad). It has a tiny kitchen but full size appliances. There is a queen bed and one bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. On the property there are two tiny horses. They are behind a fence so they won't be in the way. But you can pet them and they love carrots! It is convenient to the French Broad and Douglas lake, just five minutes to either. There is public access dock .1 mile away you can easily walk to. There is plenty of room to bring a boat. The boat launches for either the lake or the river are both 5 minutes away. Pigeon Forge is about 25 minutes away. The interstate is about 14 minutes away along with Smokies Stadium and Bass Pro Shop. Soaky Mountain water park is about 12 minutes away. It is very peaceful and we have pretty great sunrises and sunsets in the area. If you wanted to walk down to the public dock the sunsets are lovely. You may see the owners (my parents) from across the street come over to care for the horses twice a day, but they won't be a bother. There is a garden up there as well and the owner may be up there tending to it on occasion. And if there are vegetables he is willing to share them.

Situated just far enough in the country that the peace and quiet made it very relaxing.
We really enjoyed our stay! Everything from the scenery, feeding the horses and goats, talking with the owner and of course the Cabin itself was exactly what we were looking for. We couldn’t bring our camper this trip and this experience was the next best thing, you have our thanks!
This was a perfect spot for newlyweds! The house was cozy, cute, and very peaceful. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We are looking forward to our next stay!
