The Mesquite Cabin at Starlight Canyon Bed & Breakfast

A cozy little cabin for a romantic getaway. A one bedroom unit with separate living space. Our property is surrounded by the natural beauty of the second largest canyon in the United States, the Palo Duro Canyon. Guests have the opportunity to see wildlife and enjoy world class birdwatching. Take in our beautiful lawns and gardens just outside the cabin. Beautiful and comfortable in any season. Convenient to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, as well as the cities of Amarillo and Canyon. Gated property with exclusive access. Very secure.

Queen size bed, fireplace, television with satellite connection, kitchenette with sink, small fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Wifi connection anywhere on the property. Large bathroom with a walk-in, cave shower. Full housekeeping including linens. Exclusive add-ons including dinners, in room massages, romance packages, and more.

Everything was great expect for the food it is a bed and breakfast not a hotel breakfast for weekday should have at least a gift card to eat breakfast out it can’t provide a warm plate or fruit . Not just 2 danish for 2 people.

We liked this place a lot. A beautiful little cabin in an interesting place--thevriver valley at the upper edge if Pli Duro. We particularly enjoyed looking up at the incredible night sky from rhe hot tub.One small caution: the VRBO listing said up to 4 can be in each cabin. In fact, this is an error on VRBO's part--they hold only two. The owners were very nice about helping us out when we showed up with our daughter, but we wanted to say something to future guests, in case this happens again.

Starlight Canyon

The property was beautiful. The trees and flowery landscape was amazing. The cabin and grounds were spotlessly clean. We were able to meet and visit the hosts, Liz and Nate, who are awesome. I definitely recommend this place.

What a gem! This B&B is gorgeous, it’s a beautiful property, perfect upkeep, nicely furnished “Texas style”z the living room with fireplace, private hot tub, kitchenette, nice bshowet, bed and pillows very comfy, all perfectly clean, truly lovely. Check in included personal phone call- what a wonderful surprise from beginning to end!

My husband and I had a great time at the Mesquite Cabin at the Starlight Canyon B&B. Comfortable cabin, lovely pastries for breakfast, landscaped and peaceful grounds. Private hot tub with starlight views at night! Relaxing time and we felt we were millions of miles away from it all!

Family Visit

I was in town with my family of 4 for a campus tour of West TX A&M for my daughter. I booked this beautiful B&B in a rush while at work and mistakenly didn’t realize it did not have 2 beds.The gracious host came to ensure check in was good when I explained my error. She quickly sprang into action & hand delivered 2 air mattresses, pillows and blankets. She saved the day! THANK YOU so very much. I highly recommend this B&B and will be back soon.
