This is a very old, very cool historic house. The layout is odd and is not for everyone but we really liked it. The porch was our favorite spot. I will say my teenage daughters were questioning the stay but my husband and I enjoyed the old Detroit charm for a quick stay. The yard is awesome, kitchen very user-friendly and the basement pool table was fun, beautiful weather so we had the garage door open. Good memories made!
Loved the historical house and history behind it! The house had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing weekend. Docking the boat was a breeze with the public boat launch only a mile away. Location to downtown Detroit to attend a Tigers game at Comerica park was perfect. The house itself could use a good deep cleaning but that didn’t deter us from thoroughly enjoying the property and we will more than likely be coming back in the near future.
