Extended Palm Desert for Work
I stayed at this location for an extended work related residency over the winter.
The host was excellent at communication. Any issues were resolved quickly over phone, text or email, although there was nothing major that occurred, except for troubleshooting the door lock with some fresh batteries. The host put a lot of effort into making my stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. It is clear that the host treats the house as a special place for his family and wants guests to have a like-minded experience.
Private pool was great. I had it heated a couple times during the winter when I had family over; well worth it. The layout of the house was conducive to having family over, entertaining for an evening or just relaxing. Limes, lemons, tangerines and grapefruit always available in the garden.
Being in the desert, things can get dusty, so be prepared to sweep a bit if staying more than a week or if there is a windstorm.
Location is quiet on a residential street but walking distance to businesses along 111 and El Paseo. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores around. The neighbors were respectful.
Overall the experience was positive. I would highly recommend to anyone.
