Enjoy the Views from the Highest Mountain in West Virginia!

We are located on Spruce Knob Mountain, the highest mountain in West Virginia. Our cabin is the perfect location to relax or enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer. You will enjoy the secluded location while viewing the stars or experiencing the amazing changing colors of the mountain throughout the day and seasons. Don't miss the spectacular views of the Fall Foliage season!

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, star gazing, quality time with the family, outdoor adventures, or just to enjoy all that nature has to offer, you will find it at our cabin.

Our minimum stay for holiday weekends is the length of the holiday. (For example Labor Day Weekend would have a three night minimum)



We are within 1 hour of Snowshoe and Canaan ski resorts. We look forward to you enjoying our cabin as much as we do.

Tranquility at its best

The home was immaculate and so very comfortable. The hot tub at night under the stars cannot be beat. Everything you need and more for a relaxing vacation. I recommend 100% and will book again.

The place was very nice and clean when we arrived. We could smell the freshness as soon as we opened the doors. Everything was neat and worked as intended. The views were beautiful! It was exactly what it shows on the website. I contacted Ray before we went down and he was a real gentleman!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, spacious and cozy. The view of the mountains was beautiful. It’s secluded and perfect for looking at stars at night. The host was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Exactly as pictured

Beautiful place to stay. Felt like I was at my parents house with the decor and furnishings, but it felt like home. Clean and the most beautiful view from the deck, hot tub, outdoor area, and living room couch. I'd sit in the morning with my coffee looking out the big windows.

UNBELIEVEABLE mountain views

We arrived, to the cabin, on top of a mountain, could not get out of our car…we sat in awe of the UNBELIEVEABLE view before us. Others raved about the view…truly a sight to take in, the majestic mountains. Cabin was neat clean comfortable and had everything we could need during our stay… highly recommend.. except… the main floor bed.. ( I was too lazy to sleep upstairs) … lumpy, rolled into the middle no matter how much I hugged the sides of the bed to stay put.. I ended up sleeping on the couch 3 out of 4 nights. But if you want to get away for quiet, privacy, Mountain Views, hiking/exploring and quaint towns.. this cabin is your diamond!!!!

I wanted a secluded cabin n the mountains and this was perfect! Surprising amenities, internet and hot tub with a million dollar view. Close hiking trails and a beautiful waterfall. I will be staying here again

We were looking for a place to unplug, relax, and enjoy a nice view of West Virginia’s mountain ridges. This home had it all: a gorgeous view through large floor to ceiling windows with a deck, a hot tub for relaxing and far enough away from everything that there was true quiet. The home was furnished very comfortably, with a well equipped kitchen, 2 spacious full bathrooms and bedrooms, laundry on site. Linens were included. We were blessed to see the fall foliage in glorious colors all around. We particularly enjoyed Dolly Sods and an easy walk around Spruce Knob lake. It truly was almost heaven. Hard to leave, but we hope to come back!

We had another fantastic stay at this gem in the mountains. The cabin is great. The furniture is comfortable. The views are wonderful from morning to night. The road coming in is ok for experienced riders but the final turn has loose gravel that could be challenging for newer motorcyclists. It is one of our favorite places to go and we look forward to getting there again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. This place has it all. The best views from either inside the home or outside on the deck. It was very peaceful and secluded. The kitchen was stocked well with all the essentials to cook our meals. The cabin and hot tub was very clean. If we were to make one reccomendation it would be that the mattress in the master bedroom could use an upgrade...it sags in the middle making it uncomfortable. However, we still very much LOVE this property and could even see bringing our kids back with us sometime. There are lot of trails nearby and things to explore. For a two night stay we barely touched on the things to do in the area and look foward to being able to return some day. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!!!

A repeated stay for us!

We love this cabin, we always ask Raymond if he ever sells to let us buy it. It’s got an amazing view, perfect for a family with the bedroom set up, and everything is always clean and well stocked. We LOVE this cabin. Can’t wait for our next stay.
