The canal behind the house can take you to the gulf in about 10 mins.
Sitting on the deck, you can relax, enjoy sunshine and fishing.

Kayak trip

We enjoyed our time at the house, but our main draw was easy access to the water. The dock on the canal is about a 15 minute pedal to the bridge that opens up to lemon bay. We loved the quiet neighborhood and setting. The home is quaint and a little dated, but was clean and served our needs well. Would definitely stay there again. Communication with spring was excellent. Thank you for sharing your house.

Large Home Short Drive to Everthing

This is a well-kept home in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes to the nearest beach and the laid back town of Englewood. We had a very relaxing stay. It's an old-style Florida ranch in need of some furniture updates and better lighting, and it's spacious enough for a family. We especially enjoyed the back porch for relaxing and the canal and deck was a big plus. We found the master bed comfortable enough but the frame was jiggly. The other two beds in the second bedroom were very comfortable. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Neighborhood was mostly permanent residents, and is safe, and well kept, people out walking dogs, rising bikes, and jogging. Spring is a great hostess and easily available for questions.
