Periwinkle Inn Hotel of Cape May, NJ was named one of eight most romantic hotels in all of NJ by Tripstodiscover.com! We are an Oceanfront property with 7 different styles of rooms to choose from. We offer Hotel rooms, two-room suites plus our signature bi-level suites. Our property has a 5-star outdoor heated pool. We are one of the only properties in Cape May to have lawn games daily and a firepit at night. BBQs are outside and available to everyone as well. The Shuffleboard court is available to all guests as well.

The room was clean and the pool was nice. It was advertised as an ocean view and we didn’t have a room with a view. Residents were smoking outside our room on their patio and the smoke drifted towards our room. Manager said they couldn’t do anything about them smoking outside on their patio property. Maybe smoking should be in designated areas. The hair dryer caught fire and when I reported the incident they addressed it immediately. On the plus side, we loved Cape May and will return, but probably not to the Periwinkle Inn.

The Periwinkle is a great place to stay for a weekend trip or getaway. The location is nice. The staff is friendly. However, the rooms need some updating (brighter lightbulbs, more comfortable pillows, etc).
