The cabin was cozy and very comfortable. The owner welcomed us not along after we arrived he was very helpful and welcoming. The property is very beautiful. Would definitely stay there again
I stayed for one night while at an equestrian event in Ocala. Affordable accommodations are increasingly rare since World Equestrian Center opened. This is a really charming place. Yes, it's small, but the owner has taken great care to make it cozy and welcoming. I am booking this week for another stay in March.
The property is beautiful and well maintained. Having a dedicated parking spot out front of the cabin enhanced the idea you had your own space. The cabinn was clean and very well outfitted (all you needed to have a comfortable stay) with a decor that was inviting and fit the area. Our focus was to be at WEC and being only minutes away was perfect! We look forward to booking this property again! Thank you to our fabulous hosts!
Owner was very nice and helpful. The cottage was clean and cozy. It was everything I needed for a nice, quiet getaway.

My sister and I were there to watch my granddaughter’s competition over the weekend. We were not a fan of the cassette toilet, nor the sleeping area in the loft reachable by a ladder. Would be perfect for younger people, not 70 year olds unless it was a single as there is a downstairs sleeping area for 1. The location was excellent and the property was very nice.
This place was perfect for my 1 night stay while I watched friends show at the World Equestrian Center. It was clean & had everything I needed. I grew up on a gravel road so that did not bother me. The compost toilet was clean & had instructions. Also, this may not be a big deal but it made me happy that there were dairy free creamers for the coffee because I am lactose intolerant. If I come back to watch a horse show I will stay again! Also this
Perfect location if you have an event to attend at the World Equestrian Center. Cabin was clean and exactly as described. Host was quick to respond to texts/messages and was quick to accommodate us when we had an issue with the hot water.
My standard poodle and I spent one night here. The pond with a water feature and the grounds are beautifully landscaped.
I had my coffee in the morning enjoying the roosters crowing.
So I needed a quick overnight stay close to where I was boarding my new horse. Ovedale was good; when I drove over I was a little worried about the "dirt roads" and passed a few questionable homesteads (just a little downscale). But when I reached Mr. Kind's place I immediately recognized the quality and attention to detail. It was perfect for what I needed. If you are looking have a quick stay in Ocala near WEC this is a good place. (And I'm a VRBO Premier Host)!
What an awesome stay! Kids are 5 and 3 and they absolutely loved staying up in the lofted beds. The space is small but very functional and looks great. Beds are comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and eating dinner on the patio. Host was very responsive and accommodating and gave some great recommendations. A really cool experience and we would definitely stay again. Thanks!!
This property was perfect for what I needed. I was there for 8 nights. It was close to the venue where I was attending a conference. The house was clean and comfortable. Kevin was there to greet me and answer any questions I had. Since I’m a “senior “ I chose to sleep on the daybed which was very comfortable. There are 3 beds in the loft but the ladder up and down was a bit formidable to me. All in all this was exactly what I expected.

I never heard from the property regarding check-in until 2.5 hours after check in and I had to book another place last minute. I am also having a terrible time trying to get a refund.
Our family stayed at Ovedale for a weekend while we were in Ocala for a wedding. Kevin was such a great host. We were so comfortable and had everything we needed... and more. The beds were comfy, the property was beautiful. This tiny house was so cute and so homey. This was our first tiny house experience. We loved it!! Now we want to build our own tiny house!!
Thank you, Kevin!! You're a wonderful host!
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable for my partner and I. The only issue was the toilet which was a self-contained composting toilet. It would’ve been liked to know beforehand.

We never heard back from them and attempted to contact so we had to find another place to stay that day.
So disappointed
Myself, my spouse, and our 3 kids (ages 10, 12, and 17) stayed for one night. We all loved this cottage/cabin!! There are two queen sized beds in the loft and a daybed downstairs so we all fit and slept with plenty of room for us all. Our 12 year old decided we need 4 of these for us all to stay in. Lol. The kitchen had everything we needed to have meals there. It was close to Rainbow Springs. We even had a bonfire! I love the little touches and even the compost toilet became a part of our conversation. I would absolutely stay here again!

I wasn’t really keen on the compost toilet and the shower only stayed warm for a min. The toilet is on me since another has commented before. It’s pretty tiny and I didn’t expect the no oven, but on me since I didn’t pay attention. They did have electric portable stove. So they did pretty well to compensate for the things you might need!
