Our whole experience at 91-B Guesthouse was first rate, beginning with parking and ease of entry. The cleanliness of the house, the nicely equipped kitchen, the furnishings, AC, etc, it was all good. Plus, the location in a vibrant neighborhood was an additional pleasure.
Stayed with family and a friend for a long weekend of our son's wedding. It was spacious, and felt luxurious. Loved the accomodations and the location.
This house was so charming and perfectly Charleston!! The wrap around porch and sweet courtyard was exactly what we were looking for with my whole family coming in for our son’s graduation. The rooms were comfortable, the beds nice and large and the bathrooms were updated. We did have an issue with one of the showers not draining but communication with the team was quick and responsive. They came within the hour and fixed it. I only wish I had booked all the houses in the cul de sac for my whole group! Will absolutely stay again.
The GuestHouse of Charleston truly exceeded our expectations! The house is located in a prime location, allowing walking to most the popular areas. The house was spotless on arrival, we never experienced any issues. It was the perfect getaway to celebrate! Will be booking again in the future.
A wonderful house in a great location! We had 8 adults in town for a wedding and we had a great time. The host was very helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.
Really fun to have a comfortable and convenient place for parents, 4 siblings and spouses from different parts of the country to gather for a weekend wedding!
Property walking distance to King for shopping and restaurants. Had 1 parking space. House had plenty of room for our group of 3 to spread out and be comfortable.
Perfect setting for a girl's weekend. The house is absolutely adorable and in a great location! Highly recommend - only note is that all bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor just something to note if you or anyone in your party has mobility issues.
beautiful home with onsite parking, great location and plenty of beds. Host was great with any thing we needed. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend this house to anyone with a larger group!!
This house was absolutely amazing and felt like home from the moment we walked in!
We will be back for sure! The house is so lovely! The rooms were impeccably decorated and were very spacious! The kitchen was equipped with everything, bathrooms were so nice and large, and our overall experience was a ten!
House is very nice and well stocked kitchen. Great location within 5-15 min walk to king st shopping. Owner very responsive and helped us out with special request. No overnight on-street parking. Would definitely rent again.
Great house, great communication, summer heat is an issue
The house was overall great. Exactly as advertised, clean, and in a great location. Communication with the host was also great as well.A major issue for us tho was that the house doesn’t have enough AC to keep up with the heat when it’s over 90-91 degrees outside. It was hotter than that while we were there, 95 or so each day for the first three days. It was 80 in the house all day, and didn’t get under 75 until well after 1am. By 7a each morning it was down to 71-72, but was back at 75-76 by 10am and only got worse from there. This made the house essentially unusable during the day, and very very hot at night for sleeping. The host responded timely and had the ACs checked quickly but nothing was done and our 80 internal temps were deemed un fixable due to ‘unseasonably high heat.’The fact that the house doesn’t have enough AC to cool properly when temps are above 90 should be mentioned in the listing. Apparently this has been an issue before because there are box fans scattered throughout the house. End result: I paid a nice chunk of change to sweat through the sheets each night. So if you go during the summer and temps are over 90, be aware that the house will be mostly unusable during the day and extremely uncomfortable at night.
Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house was immaculate and definitely accommodated our guests comfortably. The only issue we had was the chairs pictured in the kitchen around the table were not the same for our stay. The chairs during our stay were rather large and it made it a tad bit difficult to maneuver around. Other than that I would highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, beautiful and very close to the city!
My wife and I surprised my mother with a trip to Charleston for her 80th birthday. My Aunt, brother and his wife also came and joined the surprise. It was a great weekend and the house was fantastic. It was nice having family all together and in a great location. We “accidentally” met the owner on the way out and he couldn’t have been nicer. We will be back and hopefully stay here.
The house is off the street and parking is easy. The kitchen has everything you might need. The bedrooms are all roomy as are the full bathrooms. Walking distance to almost everything, including restaurants, bars, the waterfront. Just wear shoes a the beautiful wood floors so have a sharp nail sticking up in a few places downstairs, but not in the bedrooms.
The Manor was exceptional clean, spacious, with a Victorian presence. Each couple had their own restroom. It was in a great location. We needed parking for three cars and Carrie accommodated us with a spot at a different facility at no cost. We arrived early from Florida and were able to enter the establishment. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of sunlight. Enjoyed the porch and balcony. The only concern was the stairs were misleading, since the rail ended there is still one step on the bottom floor and we kept falling. Maybe a yellow strip or something would help. There were no coffee filters but this was not an inconvenience. I would highly recommend The Manor! They responded to all my questions and concern immediately. Florida and we were
Came to Charleston for a family wedding and the house was perfect for our large group. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable, including the murphy bed. The kitchen was very well equipped and most importantly, plenty of bathrooms! We enjoyed rocking on the front porches with our coffee and wine. Other friends and family members staying close by came for a visit and said we had the best place! Our host Kerry was the best communicator I’ve ever had when staying at a rental. We highly recommend this home!
