Beautiful beachfront villa at the Wyndham Grand Rainforest Rio Mar Resort

Our custom-designed beachfront villa is the perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation. It is also a great place to enjoy a relaxing vacation and distance working . We have wireless internet access in the whole apartment including the two oceanfront balconies. The Villa has a spacious living room connected to the kitchen and a v dining area overlooking the ocean. The two separate bedrooms are equipped with tv and bathroom. The quiet villa is fully air-conditioned and has an electricity generator to ensure a good night's rest and enjoyable days. The location on the East wing corner provides cross-views of the tropical flora and the ocean. The Villa is right in front of the beach and within walking distance of most hotel amenities. The two balconies ( in front of the living room and in front of the two-bed bedroom) facilitate the enjoyment of the magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean and the three private pools and b jacuzzi of the property. The Villa is located within the grounds of the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa. You can walk to the main building of the resort (5min) and to the beach (2min). The 1400-square-foot apartment has marble floors in all rooms, granite/ quartz counters in the kitchen, and two bathrooms. It is the perfect place for guests interested in enjoying the amenities of a first-class resort and the comfort of a private home. The apartment boasts a fully equipped kitchen including a bar area with a wine cooler where you can enjoy group gatherings with a beachfront view. In addition, to the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort Rainforest Resort, there are many nearby restaurants that offer many excellent dining options. Groceries, apparel, and medications are available for purchase within walking distance at the Resort or at several shopping facilities a short drive away. The apartment is near several landmarks including The Caribbean National Rainforest, the Fajardo bioluminescent bay, and the port to the well-known islands of Culebra and Vieques. Old San Juan city is only 45 minutes away by car. A day visit to the city offers the opportunity to learn about our history and appreciate the Spanish architecture of forts, houses, and public buildings. Many exquisite dining options are also available in Old San Juan, Santurce, and Miramar. These are in addition to the ones at the Wyndham Resort which are within walking distance of the Villa. Around-the-clock security is provided at the Resort and Villa premises to have a worry-free getaway. We invite you to enjoy our beautiful villa!!!!

Wonderful family spring break

I was so excited to me able to take my children here for spring break. We loved how close the pools and beach were, the views from the balconies, the ability to cook, and so much more! I would love to visit again

The best of both worlds!

My family stayed 5 nights in Lesbia’s condo. Having a condo that suited my family with all the amenities and the resort, literally 5 minutes walking distance away was amazing. The condo is exactly as described! I’ve stayed at a lot of vrbos and I’ve never been in one this stocked! It really was very much appreciated. The pools were empty most days as well as the beach area. One thing I will add that no reviews mention is that I was allowed to workout at the resort fitness center, which was nice. Fair warning- it was the worst resort gym I’ve ever been in (imo), but I made it work and was thankful to have the option. The views as everyone has stated is amazing. There’s 2 balconies- one from the living room and one from the room with Double Queens. The master is at the back, which is perfect if you need it dark to sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay here again! Thank you Lesbia for offering up your beautiful condo!

You can't beat the location: right at the beach, easy to access the Wyndham Grand Rio hotel's restaurants and shopping but none of the crowds. The pools are very private. Thank you.

Location, location, location! Right on the beach with beautiful ocean views...couldn't ask for more. The condo was well-stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs. This was by far the most beautiful villa, and property that we have rented in PR. Les responded immediately to any questions I had. My husband loved the gold course and the proximity to the hotel and restaurants was a definite perk. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location

Beautiful condo & great location! Steps away from the beach and easy access to the Wyndham Hotel next door. Enjoyed riding bikes around the property and sitting on the oceanfront balcony. The condo is very modern and the kitchen was well equipped. Les has also left a welcome guide in the condo with menus, excursion ideas and tips on the area. I recommend visiting the rainforest -its incredibly close! Overall a great stay :)

Caribbean Paradise

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic Vrbo rental, and our experience exceeded all of our expectations. The unit offered breathtaking ocean and pool views that we enjoyed every morning and evening. Its central location made it incredibly convenient to explore a variety of activities, restaurants, and attractions nearby as well as the conveniece of going to the supermarket. The rental went above and beyond in providing extra amenities. From beach gear to kitchen essentials; everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was readily available. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Overall, this Vrbo rental provided an exceptional vacation experience. The host was very kind and accommodated our one special request. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-appointed place to stay with stunning views. My wife said I did a great job. Enough said.

I booked this trip for my wife and three kids for her 40th birthday. We have 10, 7, and 4 year olds. The apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Having the washer and dryer, covered parking, beach towels, ample beach chairs, and coolers was excellent. The pools and beach were virtually empty everyday giving a wonderful feeling of intimacy. We were able to walk over to the resort and use their pool which my kids loved at times as well as they found other children to play with and the water slide. We found the food at the resort to be very overrated but the drinks were great. I would advise anyone staying and buying groceries to do research and go out of your way to find a good grocery store. We went to Amigo and Ralph's and found both lacking, particularly for fresh fruit. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely come again. My kids made awesome core memories.

Beautiful beachfront property

Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife and three sons ages 17-21. The photos are accurate -- the property is well located in a nice development with private pools/hot tubs and easy access to a pretty beach. The Wyndham is a short walk away and we ate there a few times but it's very overpriced for mediocre food and so we mostly just went for drinks and played a bit of blackjack. We rented a car and it was nice to be able to get away from the resort property to visit neighboring areas such as Luquillo and Las Croabas for restaurants (particularly liked the Luquillo Kiosks for casual bites at the beach, Boardriders for dinner, and Pizza to go Rio Grande which is only a mile or two from the condo), stores, supermarket, Walgreens, etc. Didn't get a chance to visit El Yunque and the seas were too rough for a snorkeling or dive trip but the condo is well situated for those wanting to do these things. Other pros: easy communication with the owner (e.g. wifi wasn't working and she was very quick to get it reset/fixed), well stocked kitchen, designated parking spot in garage downstairs, washer/dryer in the condo, beach towels and chairs (and some beach toys but we didn't use those). Cons: pretty much as expected, although a pull out couch would have been nice for a family with more than 2 kids...Overall, highly recommend!

Perfect Get-away

We had a great stay at this property. The pools are great and overlooking the ocean. The nearby resort is good to grab dinner or coffee. It's safe and clean and beautiful. If we make it back again, we would definitely stay here.

The villa was exactly how described, clean, kitchen fully equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The pools at the villa were good (a little extra skipping needed). Location was perfect, beach front and short walk to the resort. At check-in finding the unit was a little difficult but the property real estate office assisted- a map of the condos and resort would have been helpful in advance. Unfortunately we lots power during our stay and the back-up generator was not working (replacement part on order). The owner let us know this in advance of our trip. During our stay we were allowed to use the resort restaurants but we were not allowed to use the resort pools (unfortune as they do have an amazing kid pool area). The ocean in this area is very rough with a lot of rip tides, not ideal for kids.

Family Vacation

Condo was clean and adequately equipped. Nice to have some essentials available like laundry soap, body wash, etc. There is no real oven, just convection oven that didnt work great for pizza, etc. Very close to Rio Mar resort but found the store and dining very pricey. Pools were great. Beach was sandy and worked every morning but still had debris. Luqiillo beach was not in walking distance. Golf was great!

1st time in Puerto Rico

Perfect Location. The layout of the apartment was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the large open kitchen to the living room. There were plenty of fresh linens, towels, and beach towels to use. Linens were fresh and updated. Beach chairs were provided. We had plenty laundry detergent, dish and dishwasher soap, garbage bags, and toilet paper for the week. It was so nice to be able to walk to the hotel for dinners. Food there was delicious. Steps to the ocean. We would walk the beach for miles. Beach was clean. Kids were able to boogie board but had to watch the waves as some hours they were large. Pools were nice. Kids played volleyball and bean bags too. So much to do here. Property felt safe. I would definitely recommend this location and would stay here again. Thanks for an amazing week. We truly enjoyed it!

I am former Professor and Dean of the School of Pharmacy, University of Puerto Rico. I am also a University of Michigan alumni. My family love the beach, the outdoor activities and restaurants available at the Resort.

Why they chose this property

We chose to buy this vacation rental because is directly in front of the beach and is quiet and safe to walk around the resort during the day and in the evenings. We do not need to drive to have dinner and can listen to the ocean from both balconies. Also, there are plenty of sports that my grandchildre will be able to practice when they grow up. It is the perfect place for us to relax away from the city and at the same time have easy access to Resort's amenities.

What makes this property unique

Guests can enjoy stunning views of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, two balconies, and the double bedroom. They can also enjoy the tropical flora from the master bedroom and the rest of the Villa. Two large private pools are available only to the Villa guests.
