Really enjoyed this peaceful place a short boat ride off of the busy San Pedro island. Sunrise & sunsets are peaceful & beautiful from here. Also loved the Coconut Café that is there on the property with Brahma Blue.
Firstly, Darryl, the property manager, does an exceptional job. He didn't just meet us and hand us a key. He personally gave us a tour of all the facilities and included a free Rum Punch at the wonderful TIKI bar on the premises while he gave us tips about the area. He also arranged taxis and a snorkeling trip. He was always available to handle anything we needed. He is the best property manager we've ever had.
I gave the Property Listing only 3 stars because VRBO is confused about the actual location of the resort. It's actually across a lagoon from the town of San Pedro, so you must take a 5 minute boat ride to get there. The boat ride is free but only runs every two hours, so this is a major inconvenience. This location error was also a blessing, as the resort is very quiet and beautiful and we're glad that we could escape the noise and chaos of the town. San Pedro is NOT a place you want to spend much time in.
The resort is well maintained and has beautiful views, especially the "sunset" side. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, although the cookware is typical condo low quality and sparce. Unfortunately, the water system is unsafe for drinking but the resort provides free bottled water.
The Tiki bar I mentioned should be talked about more in the property description. It's the largest thatched roof facility I've ever seen. It's called the Cocoanut Cafe and is an outstanding, open air place to hang out or dine. It's located over the water at the end of the dock.
