absolutely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed getting to reconnect with nature. The home felt so cozy and comforting, and the beach was a five minute walk. I can’t wait to go back.

Magical Memories

Where do I begin to describe the incredible 3 day stay in one of my favorite countries to visit in the 🌎 The dome house experience will rival any vacation accommodations you’ve ever had. Starting with the location which sets the stage for all the magic to happen: nestled in a eucalyptus grove that whisper in the ocean breeze day and night while parrots, doves and oven birds chatter all day. Fireflies twinkle with the stars at night. Flowering plants line the perimeter of the property as you walk through the grove following the sound of the Atlantic and behold 5 minutes later a majestic almost uninhabited uninterrupted coast unfolds in either direction allowing you to see the morning sunrise and evening sunset. Also included in this magnificent vista are Punta Ballena and Punta Del Este punctuating how private your location is but yet so close to other places of interest. Even closer and more quaint than Punta del Este is our new favorite town in 🇺🇾 of Piriàpolis. The drive there winds through vineyard covered hills and pastures… Being our second trip to Uruguay we’d experienced hotels, condos and cottages so when I saw the Dome listing I knew it would be a great new experience. Fede the owner and builder of the structure was great in communicating throughout the entire booking process and was there to greet us warmly upon our arrival and was available to assist during the stay. Natural light, great breeze, great kitchen, don’t leave 🇺🇾 without a stay in the Dome!!!
