What a great place. Beach feel, cozy, clean, organized, slept like baby, worth the price. We enjoyed it so much we stayed 2 more days. Thanks Hetti!

Vermillion Gem

The best way to describe this property is “fresh, clean, bright and comfortable”. The house is exactly as pictured online. The furnishings are all new and very comfortable. The family room is great for an evening of socializing or equally well suited for a lazy evening of series binging on your favorite streaming channel. The kitchen is well equipped for modest meals although we opted for take-out for most of our meals. The property includes an attached garage which made loading and unloading the car a breeze. It’s only a few minutes into downtown Vermillion and it was a good location for several day trips including, Toledo, Catawba Island, Marblehead and Oberlin.

Lovely property but pics are misleading

The property as presented is just fine. Fully stocked kitchen was nice although we didn’t use it. The neighborhood is ok. Kind of junkie. The pics are somewhat misleading. All of the beach and lake chatzke in the house is misleading. There is no beach near. We went to Main Street Beach. Umm no. We are from Michigan beaches. It’s just different. And Hattie it seemed like you were investigating if we were Ok? Had to explain my daughters college visit etc. that was insulting. At the end of the day I’ve stayed in over 25 vrbos. House ok but investigating questions insulting.

I am not sure what investigating questions you referr to? I asked you only one question: did you read and agree to the house rules? Nothing else or anything about a college visit. If you received any other questions, they were not from me and came from VRBO directly. You probably know that already since you are a seasoned traveler. You also should know that the pin on the map indicates the llocation and the drive and walking times to the beach or lake are clearly listed for you, directly under the pictures.. As to Lake Erie , I can’t speak for that or make it any more suitable to your liking.. I am sorry that it did not live up to your expectations. Maybe next time you should do a little more “investigating” yourself before you book anything. I deeply regret that you found my decor “misleading”, but that is the most absurd thing I have ever heard.
