What you see is what you get. If you’re like me, a 40yo mom looking for a night away from the family but feeling guilty about spending any money on yourself, this place fits the bill. It was quiet, safe, and relatively clean.The photos are accurate, or it might be a touch better in person. Unfortunately, I was not aware before arrival that two of the three AC units were not working – the one in the living room was also leaking badly onto the carpet, so unfortunately, the living room was unusable during my stay. There was a free-standing portable AC left in the bedroom, but that room was still hovering around 80 at the hottest part of the day. Luckily, the AC in the bathroom worked well, so I was able to keep that on to help in the bedroom, where I spent most of my time.The silo suite is very dated, but it has a ton of potential! It is a nice spot on a beautiful property in a scenic town. I get the impression they are working on updating it and look forward to seeing the place restored to it’s full potential. With a little TLC, this place will be very nice! And as it stands right now, it is still good for a quiet night away.
